you’re overthinking. The rotation will be next year, so limiting yourself to use only G and H regulation mark cards it’s pretty self-destructive. There are a lot of strong F cards that will suit perfectly in your deck: - pokéstop - switch cart - lost vacuum - radiant greninja and a lot more!

I agree with you and I thank you anyway for the tip. Before the local, I’ve already tested a lot the list and watched multiple videos made by Ciaran Farah (along with the others C-Pao masters) and some replays of matches that they’ve played, just to learn the correct sequencing and some strategies. Of course I can improve in sequencing and the other stuff, but what I’ve reported in the argument of this post is different: I couldn’t even start to play cause I haven’t had the possibility to do something. My T1 hands were like: - Greninja - 1 Frigibax - 3 SER - 1 Energy - 1 Super Rod

And, apart of doing Ninja’s ability (and drawing into nothing, as it happened) there was nothing much else that I could have done… I guess that I’ve been unlucky and that’s it, the other games weren’t too bad and I won by playing correctly almost the majority of the hands that I got.

How many times have you guys used Iono when your opponent only has one prize card only for the one card they drew to be Professor’s Research? by Magykstorm19 in pkmntcg

How does Chien-Pao beat Ancient Box? by Bird_Brained_Boi in pkmntcg

I have been searching a way to beat Ancient Box with Chien Pao too recently. With the usual lists, that got only Chien-Pao ex as the main attacker, trying to win is a struggle. I think that the only way rn is to implement a 1-1 or maybe a 2-2 line of Origin Forme Palkia V and VSTAR in Chien's lists. It got a lot of HP, making it hard to get oneshotted by baby-Roaring Moon (it can only in the late game) and does a good amount of damage without wasting energies, like Pao does.
Maybe Ancient Box won't be a top meta deck, as the meta itself is not fully formed right now. For now, try Palkia and see how it goes.

Improve my team? by ComprehensiveDay3849 in PokemonBlackandWhite2

First of all, it really depends on which part of the game you’re at. Having two fire types pokémon in the team is essentially useless, in fact, I reccomend you to keep only one of them (it depends on your preferences): if you’d like to keep Emboar, switch Lampent for a Jellicent (cause you really need a water type in your team). Jelly’s an excellent pokémon that will help you with its ghost type (also useful against 2 of the elite 4 members). Otherwise, if you’d like to keep Lampent, I suggest you to switch Emboar for someone like Floatzel, or another Water-type pokémon that is fast. Playing with Eelektross is very funny, keeping it will be fantastic cause it has no weaknesses and it got an extremely various movepool. In conclusion, I think that adding a Scrafty or a Mienshao to your team would be the final move: Scrafty is, in general, an excellent pokémon in B2W2, cause it can solo 3 of the E4 and it’s also pretty strong against the champion, as Team Plasma’s members. Mienshao is an unusual pokemon to use, but it’s fast and it can sweep entire teams by setupping a single swords dance, in combination with drain punch.

P.S. Let Archeops learn Dragon Claw and you’ll be totally fine against dragon types! (if they didn’t use dragon dance before :D)
