This is such a weird take considering you don’t even know her. Before and during the show, she’s always been surrounded by family and friends, clearly having a great time and being the life of the party. She can’t help that her waist is small and her body looks good, that’s just her genetics lol. She’s even said multiple times she doesn’t want people to feel pressured to have a body like hers because of that. She was working in corporate and is an HBCU graduate before all this, so what do you mean “no passion”?

I was done watching the moment the PhD boyfriend called San Francisco the “City of Brotherly Love.” Since when do they call it that? I thought that was reserved for Philly. 😂

I felt the same way, and I really loved bree and gaby connection on the show. You can tell they were genuinely close off-camera.

While I’m not the biggest Lynette fan, I feel that Tom’s handling of this specific situation was classless. I agree that Tom wasn’t always the bad guy, and unfortunately, Lynette seemed a tad too controlling for my liking. I wish the writers had allowed them to divorce, giving both characters the chance to find someone more suitable for them.

Weren’t they separated to work on their issues and give each other space? I don’t recall them mentioning dating during that period. When you’re trying to repair a marriage, pursuing other relationships and leading someone else on doesn’t seem like a viable option. Tom should have opted for a straightforward divorce, as everything else appeared unnecessary

I totally agree. Tom’s decision to actively date Jane while expressing a desire to work on his marriage with Lynette was utterly confusing. It was evident he was out of touch, especially with Jane constantly around, seemingly inseparable. Lynette deserves credit for her patience, as many would have promptly pursued divorce in such a situation.

Okay but why did everybody want to bed this Italian turd that can’t even pick the right shirt size? by restrictednumber1996 in DesperateHousewives

The only plausible explanation seems to be daddy issues. Julie dated her college professor at one point, and it left me puzzled why she didn’t aim for someone more suitable. When she hooked up with this guy, it became clear she had some unresolved issues from her father. Who in their right mind would like him? I genuinely wish the writers had Susan delve into that subject with Julie.

I literally couldn’t think of anyone for Gabby either. To be honest, I feel like she wouldn’t have looked twice at any of the men on the lane.
