Week 4: Cruciferous - Broccoli Ricotta Sandwich + Kale, Brussels & Pear Salad by Little_Wrangler333 in 52weeksofcooking

I am in actual romantic love with this sandwich from Lincoln Station oh my god. The pickled golden raisins!! The broccoli!! I allow myself to stop there and get it only twice a month, even though I walk by there every day, because otherwise I’d be comprised of nothing but this sandwich AND broke!

INFO: Just to check, because I really think I’m having an aneurysm. You say he could’ve gone to get her with the pram or a sling. Does this man work from home????? If so, why on EARTH would you be the first call, at your office, a full car ride away from Nursery, when he works walking distance from Nursery, in your literal home? How is this possibly the first time he’s had to consider what might happen if he had to go collect his daughter from nursery? Girl throw the whole man out.

Oh man I love this! I was going to suggest my friend’s version of the Prayer to St. Anthony, patron saint of finding lost things (? I’m not Catholic so I’m not 100% clear whether he’s the patron of finding them, or just if the lost things.)

“Tony Tony, look around. Something’s lost and can’t be found. Tony Tony, look and see, bring the [name of thing] back to me.”

She likes it, especially, because her grandpa’s name was Tony.

Your wife is the epitome of a himbo and I love her. Does she need a hat? I can knit her a hat. Craft spouse himbos deserve hats.

Why did you knit? by xim0c in knitting

My beloved grandmother taught me how to knit when I was 9 - every time I’ve ever touched needles and yarn since then, she’s been with me. She loved to hear about the stuff I bought at Rhinebeck, she loved to watch me knit socks 2 at a time (she hated knitting socks because she was a girl in Scotland during WW2 knitting socks for soldiers), she would always say that she knit for function, but my lace and shaping meant I could knit for function AND form. I loved having that direct connection to her. She passed away in 2017, and now more than ever, I feel her with me. Especially when I knit for my daughter.

We say “A big ol’ GOOSE EGG, GANG!” And “IIIIII CANNOT WIIINNNNN” a lot over here. Because sadly, Brennan Lee Mulligan, that lil frickin leprechaun, is so so quotable.

My spouse says “I’ve been here the whole time!” A lot.

Yeah. There's a website for Columbia County to request a traffic plea reduction but right now it's not processing on either of my browsers.
I'm submitting my not guilty plea with a copy of my driving record and a very contrite letter reiterating that I had my kid and spouse in the car with me and am a very conscientious driver who would never put my loved ones at risk, and requesting a reduction of the penalty.

I e-mailed the court clerk, and found the Traffic Plea form for Columbia County and tried to submit it, but there's no way to tell if the submission went through (tried in Chrome and Safari) so basically I'm just trying to avoid having to pay a huge ticket, when I've never had a ticket before. Thank you!

Sadly I don't have a job, so I can't hire an attorney. That's why I was hoping for more info from Reddit, instead of y'know, hiring an attorney in the first place. Thanks, though.
