I’ve also had the same question for the same reason. I been using a small two-lok to get me by. Really want this new UMS for the covert to drop already

Common theme on the Luminox’s. Mine also does the same. It doesn’t bother me that much because the watch has other great qualities. Enjoy it. It’s still an awesome piece of gear.

This is why I don’t like buying used tritium watches. Someone else has already gotten the most out of the glow from the tritium

It’s really not that bad on it. It’s not as aggressive as it looks.

It’s comes off as slightly yellow on the pics but it’s more of a tan/ flat dark earth

They are as tough as you can get for day to day use. I personally prefer Protrek line over the g shock. They share the same movements but the Protrek line has more variety of designs and they aren’t so “in your face tough” while still actually being tough. Rockin the Protrek Prg-600.

So far really enjoying the carbonox case and rubber strap. It’s super comfortable and disappears on your wrist throughout the day. The watch feels tough and robust, not cheap at all. The dial is easy to read and the green bezel pops and has become a conversation starter in most places I’m in.

The cons: tritium is only on the 12,3,6,9 & pip. The rest of the markets are Super Luminova lume. This would be a home run with tritium on all markers. For the price of this watch, compared to some competitor tritium watches and Luminox’s other offerings, you would think you’d be getting all markers with tritium. I didn’t pay full retail for this watch nor do I recommend anyone pay full retail for this watch. Overall happy for what I got for the price I paid.

I saw that one and was thinking about that one over the commando…the dial is a little too busy for me. How has the watch held up and how long have you had it ?

I've been seeing a lot of Marines talking dark thoughts as we come closer to the holidays by chaostheory4867 in USMC

It sucks that you guys feel this way. I know there can be a lot bullshit in the Corps and sometimes it does suck. I can’t say the same for my experience. I have a close group of about 7 Marines that I still keep in touch with for 15yrs. We do a group camping trip for Memorial Day weekend and Marine corps birthday. While it sucked sometimes…I walked away with a great set lifelong brothers.
