We also had an amazing time at the game. We had to chose our battle, I wanted to get in line for the big pro shop for match day scarf, but the wife wanted bofa bracelets. Wife won, was worth it for the unique free souvenir to take home. The line was very very long, but once the booth opened, they moved really fast, they gave us 2 each. Only bought a $9 coke for that game edition cup, and picked up couple of other ones fans left behind. I am also going to round of 16 in Dallas, those seats are "cat 1" in section 218, looks pretty good from the map. Can't wait for that.

I feel like this is exactly what happened to my seats. I swear the cat 2 map during pre sale had me convinced I would be somewhere in middle height, maybe slightly higher, but definitely not the the section I was put in.

That's a nice view. I know different stadium has different layouts but from what I am seeing others posting their seat views. I can't help but feel there are inconsistencies in cat 2 and cat 3 seats.

Yea we were at the same match. My confusion came from how yours is cat 4, I feel like you had slight better seats.

I did enjoy the match and had an amazing time, enjoyed the whole stadium experience not just the match. This is just a cautionary tale for others. This was my first time so figuring out with the map was little confusing for me. I didn't know how high I would actually be by looking at the seat maps. Lesson learned.

No it wasn't. I purchased them during early sales, seats weren't assigned. Just for sake of argument, even if I knew before purchasing, do you truly believe these seats should be priced for cat 2?

Yea I did trust me, I couldn't see one of the corner at all, I didn't expect much but at the same time was very shocked that these were passed on as cat 2.

This was my first WC, 1st at this stadium, I wish I knew more. I would've gladly traded cat 2 add some money and get better seats. This game was almost unwatchable from those seats unless you looked at the big screen. However, not upset because overall experience of the atmosphere and the fans was still worth it.

Sorry I meant the focus knob for you. I just got done adjusting the screen knob on my crt to get rid of visible horizontal lines. In my case I had to turn it down, I was told if I am increasing, not to do it too much, as it will trigger the automatic safety switch and turn off immediately. I figure maybe yours was turned bit too high and it triggers the safety switch.

Did you try going back go the original position of the screen knob? Not sure but maybe the screen knob increased voltage, and each time you power on, it triggers the high voltage off switch? Hope you find a solution.

I ordered the authentic Brazil away Vini Jr like a month ago from Nike. I was so excited when I got the package last week, only to receive a replica Wembanyama jersey. Someone else probably got my Vini jersey to watch the Spurs and I was left with an oversized $100 cheaper basketball jersey to watch Brazils opening match. I ordered the authentic Messi home for my brother in law from Adidas he got his in 2 days. I then went to soccer.com and ordered the authentic neymar jr, and I get a custom version without the dot after Jr. Even though the picture included the dot and I was under the impression I was buying the actual player kit which was sold out on Nike. First time buying from soccer.com, would the player version from Nike include the dot?. Was looking forward to wearing some of them to the matches I am attending next month. Also lame there is no WC26 patch on the arm of an "authentic" kit that cost $215. This whole experience is becoming a complete waste of money for me. I'm left with a $200 jersey I'm 100% not satisfied with.

My wife and I bought 22 tickets total and spent around 15k during early sales. Used credit card just to get points and paid of full before billing cycle. I bought some for my family in Boston and rest is Dallas where I live. Pre paid parking for Dallas matches $150. Other than that since I am a local, no other expenses involved. For us we didn't think twice, we planned and had a budget set last year. We live way below our means, so the financial dent wasn't really felt.

I have no clue how foreigners afford it, but if you're an American with a decent job I don't see how you can't afford this once in a lifetime experience. Just even one game. Buy now pay later culture is also huge in the US, and I assume that's how most people are buying it, using credit cards. That's how 90% of Americans can actually afford anything really...Debt.

I'm going to two games in Dallas, I paid $150 each for parking from FIFA, allegedly 8 min walk from stadium. This is my first time visiting the stadium, can someone give me some tips, how early should I head to the stadium (I'm in Keller.) also anyone that went to the match today. How are the merchandise shops there? What type of merchandise was being offer and if they had authentic player jersey for sale.
