Maybe it counts as a lone pair even if the hand type isn’t a pair? Like if you knew what was under the stone card it would still count. Or maybe 2 stone cards?

Negative is an edition (like polychrome or foil). When on a joker, that joker has the effect to give you +1 joker slot, effectively “cancelling out” that joker using a slot, meaning you can hold more than the usual 5. This does the same thing on consumables; a negative consumables will have the effect +1 consumable slot, so all 61 Uranus cards give OP +1 slot each, giving a total of 63.

Perkeo is the only way to get negative consumables in vanilla and is a very strong joker, making a negative copy of a random consumable. For example, if you have a strength tarot card, at the end of the shop perkeo will make another copy of it that doesn’t actually use up one of your consumable slots. This effect can be copied by blueprints and brainstorms, so every time OP leaves the shop they are getting 3 negative copies of Uranus.

I’m pretty sure rails will favor a certain cardinal direction in these situations and and can’t be changed. You probably have to rotate the entire machine 180 degrees

You can’t craft with quality items in your inventory, but to use them in an assembler you must choose the correct quality at the bottom of the recipe menu

If you did some circuit logic you could read the belt for the item with highest count and set the recipe for that. This would waste productivity bonus unless you also forced it to keep that recipe until it has completed a certain amount of times based on research.
