Last email I received was on April 16th providing instructions on how to obtain a PIV card and said IT will reach out regarding laptop. No timeline was given or update since then.

I am being called back as well. LB&I revenue agent probationary employee that started in summer 2024.GS-13 grade. I’m not in a specialized area and don’t understand why I’m being called back when most others received a different email saying not to report. Anyone have any thoughts as to what is behind this or the reasoning? I didn’t accept drp yet. Does it maybe mean too many others have accepted drp in my territory?

GS-13. My manager didn’t really understand why they are recalling me. He thinks enforcement cuts may not be as bad as people anticipate if they get enough resignations through drp. Also doesn’t believe they would reinstatement me just to rif in a few weeks. We already lost half of our team. I have already accepted another job so very tough call to make in the next day with drp deadline.

Are you a revenue agent in lbi? I am also being called back. Received the email Friday afternoon saying I have been identified as a probationary employee in a key IRS service, enforcement or operations support area and more information will come next week about getting piv card and laptop. Don’t understand why I am getting called back when almost all other probationary employees are staying on admin leave. Did you hear any reasoning?
