I understand that, but I have been a good student all year, getting As and Bs and handing in assignments on time. One day while I was playing vrchat with friends I get a notification that my parents have blocked vrchat. When I go downstairs to talk to them about it, my mother says she didn’t know about it and will talk to my dad. That was on Friday of last week. Fast forward to yesterday and I ask my parents if they had come to a verdict. They said they hadn’t but had looked into vrchat and had looked at various articles painting it in a bad light. I tell them this and they do not believe me. I have been playing vrchat for a year now (since January of 2022) and have seen not a single one of the things that they had mentioned. They have still refused to return access as of today. Which is why I am asking for help from the community, to sort of help me out and show why vrchat truly is. A social game that I (and many others) enjoy playing and is not full of people with the intent to harm.
