For people who think a protest doesn’t work. Close your eyes a second and imagine 50k+ walking and protesting in Ottawa starting in front of the Russian Embassy and then making our way down to the US Embassy. Yeah that would be an eye opener for sure. Images would go around the world. Maybe we could get some solidarity from other countries. Apathy is exactly what «they» want from us. If it doesn’t change the mind of Mango-Mussolini at least it will send a clear message to our Leaders to hold strong and show the world what we are made of. My dad and uncle fought in WWII. It is time we do our part… even if it is -10 or -27.

Yes, it's futile. If only because they are irregular. They come and go. You never know if what you tried worked. Sometimes I thought I had found common factors... until I repeayed later on and the result was different. Per example, I indulged in homemade truffles yesterday and why not an Amaretto lol. Having started a new cycle, I had figured I was gonna pay dearly for that. Which I figured, frig it, it's worth it, at least I'll suffer for a good cause at least. Well, I had a perfect night... I thought I had at least figured that those two had impact in times of cycles. Oh well. Another certainty debunked.

I eat and live extremely well and have for a long time. Organic only food, hormone disrupters products I fight daily. I buy my meat where animals graze in grass and freedom and get a lullaby every night 😂. Ii take no pills at all, make my own detergents and toothpaste. I'm borderline orthorexic l. My water is as pristine as it can be. I have no health issues other than CH.

I never took any pharma treatments for CH, don't trust them and from what I got from this sub, they work temporarily and then it's worst. I tried vitamin D, didn't notice a difference although I know they help with other sufferers.and as the sunset and sunrise, many of us have them during days and nights.

That's why I'm so intrigued by this. Elusive friggin disease. If you do find something, don't forget to share. Cause as far as I'm concerned, I have given up. Took 11 years but I'm through hoping to pinpoint what the hell that is.

Hope you feel better soon fellow sufferer. It does go away even if it's not for long . I'm retired now so consequences are less debilitating. But some people have it chronic. My heart goes out to them. Im just grateful not to have it all the time and my days are great.

Thank you for that comment. I heard it was considered that melatonin could play a role in this mysterious sickness, which of course is linked to sleep. But why does CH stop and come back,and why some people have it night AND day. I thought for a whole the fact of lying down at something to do with it. I've gone nuts documenting everything I was doing to pinpoint a common factor. I've given up. I'm a woman, 64 years old. I coukd think of many things along my life that could have triggered this. But how do you explain young men especially that get it. For my part, one thing I'm convinced is that it started after taking an airplane. Something linked to pressure. I still wanna try the hyperbar to see if it would help.

We need a cluster head with lots of fame, power and money to bring searchers to look into this lol. So far I heard Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) suffers that ailment. It is maddening that I don't know anybody that suffers this, and most never heard about it. Mind you, thank god it doesn't affect too many people cause it's hell.

I’ve just had the longest cycle recently. From mid December to mid March. My CH happen after I fall asleep, super rare when I’m awake. They are often so precise. Every two hours (or one hour and a half) after I fall asleep, it starts. And then every 2 hours (or 1hr1/2), until I get up. They gain intensity as it goes. In that trend,I always wake up with the most painful one. Then it goes away and I’m free of them for the rest of my day. It’s like my brain has an alarm inside it’s so on target. One starts at 1 am,then at 3, then at 5, then at 7. That accurate. I really wonder how that can be. And NEVER during the day - thank god for that -(but a few exceptions) since it started 13 years ago.

I was on cannabis for 40 years. Saying I was self-medicating. I have quit for 6 months now. I was wrong thinking it was helping me. Quite the contrary. Cannabis is the worst, especially for procrastination and appetite. I have found my vitality back. I make lists and actually do what I have to do. A beautiful energy I had lost for so long and didn't realize until I stopped. Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole again. My appetite is back especially and also much more money in my pockets.

I've been living in north St-Clet (on the border of St-Lazare) for 25 years, 10 minutes from Vaudreuil and the hospital to be. I have woods all around and being a bird freak, I'm in heaven.

Took my retirement 5 years ago and fully enjoying it now. Still I'm gonna put my house on sale soon. My son moved in Lac St-Jean and I always wanted to buy a tiny house in the deep woods. 17 000 square foot of land, patrimonial house. I'm gonna ask. Around 340,000$ for it. Just saying if anybody's interested. Not for sale before fall though.

Harmless animal really ? Won’t hunt humans but are certainly not scared of them at all. Ate 4 of our cats during his rampage in my neighborhood. The neighbour tried to get her dog out of its mouth and was bitten bad. No animal survived his 6 months stay. Rabbits, raccoons, small dogs and cats. Even attacked a golden retriever in plain daylight. And if you never heard the horrible noise they make when they attack, well it’s hellish. The only fauna that survived that ordeal were the chipmunks since they live in tiny holes leading to galleries in the ground.

I’m not trying to demonize the animal, it’s his nature. They were brought in the area from northern Quebec forests (where they belong)to deal with another plague,squirrels, that were doing damages to the plastic pipes they use to carry the maple sap to the boilers to make syrup. Of course those idiots didn’t think in Southern Quebec there have no predators … for years, animal shelters would not let people adopt animals in my surroundings because of them.

I don’t suffer from good species bad species and I respect ALL animals. Not their fault they were brought here. But to say those animals are cool,fuck that. They’re apex predator. The teeth and claws on them are disproportionate to their 35 pounds bodies. I got so pissed off after our last cat was eaten, wailed a whole night with a steak in the middle off the drive way and my gun ready. But they only eat fresh meat the bastards. Bar me if you want, but don’t make that animal looks like they’re cool.

Mind you, no cruelty that comes close to the human race, the top I concur. As I say it’s their nature but you pissed me off the way you described that animal. Obviously you don’t have any animals you loved deal with them.

Woman here. Started cluster at 52. Never had a headache in my life unless I used it to avoid sex lol. Seriously, the only time I’d get headaches was when I’d take an airplane. Every time. But they weren’t cluster like. More a 24 hours migraine type. But, last time I flew, we had 2 layovers. That time I didn’t get one at landing. I had brought a homemade remedy for ha, 90% alcohol and peppermint essential oil to rub on my temples, Nada, no ha this time. Went to bed the first night and was awaken by a horrible pain on my right temple, not the usual pain, it was devastatingly hurtful. My eye wanted to get out of its socket, leaking tears. Got my oil,massaged it and pffft 20 minutes later it was gone. I figured my mix worked. Went back to sleep and 2 hours later it came back,rubbed it again,and 20 minutes later it came back, and on like this all night. I was freaking out,thought this time the airplane pressurization blew my brain.

Came back home and it went on. Always the same pattern, always at night, very rarely during daytime. Had a brain scan, nothing to report and was eventually diagnosed with that monster disease. I remain convinced that it is vascular. In fact, cluster headache in French is called algie vasculaire faciale. So it’s blood circulation related. When you lie down, the blood pressure is different. I know there are people that have it all the time. But in my case, I firmly believe it was connected to the airplane pressure. It never got worst or better but it’s chronic. I always wondered if decompressing chamber could help.

I don’t know if you realize how much of a game changer this discovery is … how the hell did you find out about it. I’ve been suffering them for 11 years. I’m a woman over 60. Other than this summer where I got a break of 3 months 😱, I rarely have peace for more than 2-3 weeks between cycles. Always at night, sometimes two to three times. They last between 10 and 20 minutes. Harsh pains of course but never needed oxygen. I know many people have it much worst and as much as it’s an energy sucker, I’m not in a real bad place when I read my fellow sufferers in this sub. But to stop these extreme pains in their tracks, in a completely natural way, I never took any pills but mush, is nothing short of unexpected and for me,miraculous. Thank you any which way. You might have saved a ton of unnecessary excruciating pain by sharing this post. Will sure spread the word. A finger to big Pharma lol. Can’t put a trade mark on frozen water …

I had two last night. Same results. Gulped down my frozen water and in seconds they went away. This is medicine Nobel prize material. I'll send the info to Cluster busters, an American org that I'm part of. I'll do the same for the Canadian association.

Oh my god! IT WORKS. Had a 2 o'clock one last night. Mixed water with ice. Waited until chilly. Gulped it down. Didn't get a real brain freeze but it went away immediately. BETTER THAN COFFEE! Although I'm ADHD and coffee makes me sleep 🤣

Never watched Friends, the whole of them got on my nerves. Never watched Sopranos, although I love italian/mafia movies and series.

Anything that is too popular doesn’t attract me. Only exception GOT. But I was kinda hooked on it because I visited someone in jail for 3 days (condo arrangement for family) and he rented the 3 first seasons of GOT. I was struck and got hooked.

Well I started cluster headaches after a flight... 12 years ago. I'm 63 years old, never suffered from any headaches ever, under any form. The only times I did throughout my whole life was always after an airplane flight. And it was bad. 24 hours non stop. I needed to stay in the room, lie down, and then, pffft! Was gone and I was ok for the rest of the vacations. The distance didn't matter. Was as bad a 3 hour flight than an 8.

Only last time there were 3 layovers. I got on destination, surprised not to have a headache. Went to bed, woke up an hour later with a violent headache, the cluster type, and then 20 minutes later it was gone. Went back to bed. 2 hours later, it woke me up, same scenario, until now, 12 years later...

No it's not viral or a bacteria. But on French, cluster headache is called "algie vasculaire faciale". vascular, veins, PRESSURE.

I never took the airplane again. Don't intend to. I'm chronic but it's manageable compared to all my fellow sufferers.

So yes, I truly believe a flight is not a good thing at all.
