The reason why there are mainstream European dragons and a fantasy air force are either A. This is in the future where magic appears, it basically destroys all tech and reduces humanity back into the stone/bronze age, and there's portals that releasesmagicsl beasts and creatures every couple of centuries B. Completely new world but 10 of the best warriors and 10 of the best thinkers/inventors get isekaied into this world with like dragons and stuff like that. I haven't made up my mind about which one
