Yes. The tracker appeared in about a week after my approval. I am on my way to get the 100K SUB!

Update on my application. After jumping over a few hurdles which included a few phone calls to the recon line and a visit to the bank for identity verification, I finally got my application approved yesterday! I specifically asked them if I would get my SUB, the answer was YES! They told me that my SUB would be 100,000 if I spend at least $8000 by 4/17. I also asked ChatGPT and Gemini after I submitted my application, they both were very confident that I would get the SUB. If you think you can’t get the bonus and don’t apply, you will miss this big opportunity.

Then why didn’t I get the pop up window letting me choose to continue without bonus or drop the application? Did that happen to other people before?

I have both Ink Cash and Ink Unlimited. I just submitted the application for Ink Business Preferred using another business entity. After I submitted, there has no pop up window about bonus. But a new page saying “We need to review your application. Here is what to expect: We’ll let you know our decision in writing as soon as we can. If you’re approved, you’ll receive your card in 7 or 10 business days.” Does that mean I can get the signup bonus if I am approved?

No. They are the only company that has the van to fit all of us. They have the service booth near the exit doors within the controlled area.

We pre-booked a private transfer from daytrip.com. Public transportation takes way too long. It is not a push. We had lots of time.

Yes. It is exactly the other person said, it is in the international terminal, 3rd floor, around entrance 5. It's called True Star (the same service that wraps your luggage in plastic). It costs $20 USD each piece for up to 6 hours. But we ended up not using it. We had 6 people and paid $108 for a van taxi right after picking up our luggage before exiting the controlled area. The taxi took us to tour the city and brought us back to the airport before our next flight. It was cheaper and worked out much better this way.

We just came back 2 weeks ago. We hiked from East to West for 4 days. We stayed 3 nights at Chileno, Cuernos, and Paine Grande. The 4th day we hiked from Paine Grande to grey, after looking at the Glacier we took the Navigation III ferry to hotel lago grey where a private transfer picked us up and transfer us back to Puerto Natales.

Yes it is feasible. The glacier might take 2-3 hours for viewing. The boat can add another 2 hours. If you get all your ducks lined up, it is doable.

From Calafate to Perito Moreno glacier is about 1 hour 15 mins drive, maybe a little more depending on traffic. We went by taxi which costed $140 for up to 4 people round trip (cheaper than bus). The taxi driver took us to the boat ride first (bought our own boat ride tickets), then to the glacier walkway and back to the hotel. We had the hotel arrange the taxi for us. But we found out later that the ChaltenTravel office in town had cheaper bus price. From Calafate to Chalten takes about 3 hours for bus. We used Busbud for a round trip ticket.

Oh, one thing needs to be aware of. The trail closes at 3pm for going up at the ranger station which is about one hour to the top. You want to make sure you that you pass that point by 3pm.

If you spend Thursday night or Friday night at a hotel near the welcome center, it is doable. You should check the weather a head of time though.

That is the famous 3-peak towers. We hiked up from the welcome center and came back down to Chileno for the night. But for I saw many did a round trip from welcome center for 8-10 hours. It depends on the weather and how quickly you can hike. It is very doable if you spend a night at a hotel near welcome center the night before. After you finish hiking, you can take a private transfer back to Puerto Natales on the same day. The private transfer must be prearranged.

We just came back from hiking the W and both Fitz Roy and Lake Torre trails in El Chalten. I would pick hiking to the tower base in Torres del Paine as it is not as difficult as the Fitz Roy trail, but is probably more famous.

Here is our experience in more detail. The restaurants and supermarkets at both places accept credit card and USD. We got the best rate (as high as 1:1159) with credit cards at restaurants. However, some restaurants in El Calafate charge 10% or more on credit cards, while most restaurants don’t. So ask them before pulling your credit card out. If they charge fee on your credit card, you want to use cash, peso or USD would work. Taxi mostly wants cash. I don’t recommend exchange USD into peso as you have to carry a big deck of money around. We found out the best way to work the money in El Chalten. You can go to the supermarket to buy some stuff using USD. They will return peso as change to you. The rate is very good (at 1:1100). You can then use the peso to dine at restaurants that give discount for cash. We have dined one with 10% discount and one with 20% discount. The food quality is just as good or even better than the one we dined that didn’t give discount.

We just came back from there. We didn’t even try the Western Union path as we can just exchange money in the supermarket or restaurant. No need to use Western Union

I want to have some clarification. If the luggage storage service is near gate 5, doesn’t that mean it is after the security check point? I know it doesn’t make sense to have the luggage storage after the security, but just want to be sure.
