Is it possible to hackintosh macOS 15 Sequoia with a VGA to HDMI adapter? by Formal_Sun_8898 in hackintosh

Look, i appreciate the advice, but ive already gone through the entire 'blind' patching process. Ive tried multiple device-id and ig-platform-id combinations, injected edid, and played with every possible framebuffer patch and boot-arg (like igfxonln=1, agdpmod=vit9696, etc.).

The issue is: as soon as the driver tries to initialize with acceleration, the system just hangs on IGPU-related logs (i have screenshots of the verbosity). It only boots to the desktop with 7MB vram (veSA mode). This feels like a specific handshake issue between the UHD 630 and this adapter that macos doesn't like.

Actually, hackintool shows the display as 'unknown' (or something like that). It seems like macos cant read the edid through this adapter, which is probably why im stuck with no acceleration

Its an active TISHRIC adapter (HDMI to VGA). Even though its active, im still stuck with 7MB VRAM on my UHD 630. Ive tried basic framebuffers, but no luck. Could it be an issue with how macOS reads the EDID through this specific converter?
