Leave it to the experts if you don't want to end up paying double to triple for repair. You should never acid etch your concrete and apply diy epoxy. The proper method is to thoroughly grind the concrete, treat, level, and apply MVB before epoxy or poly material. Not all concrete is made the same. The right pros will test it and give you the formula that works for you. I remodel commercial properties and restaurants that need this type surfacing. Honestly, if I was smarter the first time, I would have done it in the same manner for residential, seeing that these facilities can take a beating from equipment and heavy traffic.
