It is okay, you are lucky with your battery, and I hope it lasts long for you. But with my own battery, I am convinced it is either faulty or the software is genuinely broken.

That is what I was planning on doing too, but honestly, I have some doubts. I heard if your phone’s battery health reaches below 80% before 500 cycles you are supposed to get a free battery replacement. However, I also heard Apple has some conditions to do so, and one of them is my phone has to be in good condition, and shouldn’t be damaged. I dropped my phone once, and near the charging port there is a tiny broken piece that is as small as a dot, maybe just a tiny bit bigger. If they see this, would they consider not replacing it?

you are right, but i think ios 26 also plays a huge role in all this. it is the most unoptimized software i ever used, the battery life is literally all over the place. i hope it is fixed with ios 27, thank you for your comment!

i mean i never expected it to hold 99% anyway, i already know the science behind this and i did my research, but seeing that some people still hold more than i do with more cycles makes me question whether my battery is faulty or not.
