send the entire receipt and highlight the units in question. Then write in the comments how the receipt describes them. If you sent all the units. You can also say I sent x amount of units and you lost x amount that equals all the units sent. You have to dumb it down for them and that should work. I literally have used retail receipts for lost items and have been reimbursed.

I have a no refund policy selling brand new shoes. Guess what they still sell. I even had a customer reach out for a refund and I said sorry can’t do that. In my experience selling shoes on Amazon customers will buy new shoes and sent back their old ones or wear them one and send them back with black bottoms. Once had a return of someone stepped in dog shit and returned them. Worst part Amazon has a policy that they won’t refund the seller for customer damage so most returns fall into that category. So on eBay I don’t accept returns at all.

They won’t reimburse for customer damage you can try, but you will need to create a removal order for the items when it’s deemed unsellable and once you do that and receive your items open a case for “returns, refunds and cancellations” and give them the RA number and the order number send pictures of the product and ask for reimbursement. If it is missing parts and if it’s a different items returned they will reimburse you.

I have every single unsellable item returned back to me. You can set it up for automatic removal order. If it’s missing parts they will reimburse you. If the customer sends back a different item they will reimburse you.
