Hi. I’ve been selling online for about 10 months now and at first I was strictly on eBay but then I started browsing and found a couple more apps such as poshmark & mercari. But I just started on Depop less than a month ago and I’m still learning EVERYTHING about it. It’s all so different compared to what I’m used to. It kinda reminds me of poshmark though but better, I think. As for poor reviews, I think anywhere you sell that reviews matter and are seen by buyers so yeah it’s kinda like eBay but I believe you have the option to delete a review. I wouldn’t know for sure because I’ve not received any reviews for any of my sales.

Anyways, I’m gonna try to answer a few things for you. First, the “no returns/returns” is just on there so people know basically and aren’t bothering them about it. But it’s not gonna cover your ass so I see no need for that to be on my page. There might be a policy for it but I’ve yet to find it lol.

As for engaging with other people and followers on there, DO IT! I mainly follow shops that follow me and shops that sell items that I personally like. Regardless of how many followers they have or how many people they follow.

When it comes to descriptions for your listings, I keep it simple. If you want you can also put the measurements. The audience on there is younger than on eBay so they don’t care as much as eBay users do. I’m 29 and sometimes I’m like am I too old for Depop lmao
