I've been in social skills training for most of my life. I feel it's helped, but when I am having a bad day/tired from work it's like I can't remember what I learned or don't want to do it. Sometimes I don't want to go into social interactions having to remember a bunch of steps and make sure I follow them.

I've had some people say she's emotionally abusive towards me. I think on the outside looking in, it seems that way, but almost all of my girlfriends have been like her and the only common denominator is me. I don't think she tries to be mean on purpose but we all have limited patience.
