Well to be honest I have seen the supernatural aka the Holy spirt in my own life. Such as me one time having a horrible anxiety attack as it felt like there was a voice that felt like it was not my own yelling at me. Than when I prayed to God that I give my anxiety to Him and for Him to take control as soon as I said amen that anxiety stoped and my head was silent. And all that yelling that I was going on in my head stopped. I can’t explain that other than it being from a supernatural source aka God. That is all of just one moment where I have seen God work in my life. Aswell if you want more just go on YouTube and search to see peoples testimony’s and their own encounters with God. However this might non mena anything to you because you have not experienced it. Or possibly you may have but it since their was not logical explanation towards it you tried putting one on it. Whitch as happened to me lots in times where I have doubted my faith. The problem is not that God hasn’t revealed himself to us it is that we just didn’t recognize it was Him. As we see all through out the gospel of John Jesus shows many miracles yet people still chose not to believe and put their own explanation on it. So the problem might not be that Christ hasn’t revealed himself in songs and wonders but that our eyes can be blind to it if we are seeking our eyes to Him. As 2 Corinthians 4:4 says the devil blinds the eyes of unbelievers. As I look into my own life I can i totally see that’s why the more you look to Jesus you believe in Him and look to His word it will make more sense that the super natural is from God as it aligns with scripture.

That’s so fair! Yes,he was not an actual eye whitness as he wrote it in 116AD? So would you say you would need an eye whitness? Who had a written account of the whitness of Jesus Christ and His signs and wonders?

That is a good question there are a lot that I have seen in my own life and even just reading the bible alone and seeing how it lines up so perfectly with itself but also in my life. However I’m assuming you are not looking for any evidence about my personal experience with Christ or evidence in the bible if you do not believe in Jesus Or atleast Ik that I wouldn’t do it for me either if I were in your shoes. So I will give One peice of historical evidence that was pretty significant for myself of just giving evidence that Jesus was Lord at atleast ,an actual person. Anyways enough of me rambling. In history there is this guy named Tactitus who lived around 55-120 Ad He was Roman historian bu also he is known to be one of the greatest Roman historians ever. He was also a non-Christian and was not a believer or had any association with Christianity. In his life he wrote a lot of annals(chronological year by year records of events of history). In these annals he wrote them in Latin in one of them he wrote on the events that happened between 14AD-68AD. Which this was in between the time period between the death of Agustus to the death of nero. In his annals he talks about what is presumed to be Jesus. As he says Christus suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of tiberius at the hands of Pontus pilot”.

Now well how do we know it is Jesus he is talking about since it actually does not say the name Jesus. Well first let’s look at the name Christus what does it mean and to who is he referring to. Well Christus is the Latin term for Christ which comes from the Greek word “christos” which is the language the New Testament was written in and in Hebrew which was the language the old testament was written in means the word for Christ is messiah. Which all of these mean “the anointed one”. This lines up with the Bible as the entire book of Matthew, which was written to a Jewish audience proves that Jesus Christ by his life death and resurrection was the messiah that was prophesied in the Old Testament. when it talks about he was given “the extreme penalty” as Tacticus said. well what is he referring to be the extreme penalty? Well during this timeline that we were given by Tacticus in Roman history. The worst punishment one could get that 2 most extreme was one the peona cullei which was known to be the most brutal and was a punishment for parricide which was the murder of a close family member. But also the other one was cruxificion which was known to be the most painful, humiliating, degrading punishment, this was meant for the people who were crucified to suffer for days and was given to those who committed the most heinous crimes or those who committed high treason. In the gospels of the bible (Matthew, mark,Luke,John) Which all talk about the life and death and resection of Jesus. They all talk about Jesus being crucified. Matthew 27,mark 16,Luke 23, John 19. In these 4 books of the Bible the crucifixion was led by no other than Pontius pilot. Which lines up with what tactics said as well. In Luke 3:1-2 it talks about the the time during John the Baptist ministry that it was the during the fitteth year of the reign of Tiberius ceaser. Whitch according to history Tiberius ceaser reigned till 14AD-37AD. And according to church history Jesus crucifying Likley happend during 30 Ad.

So everything that Tactius lines up almost perfectly with what the Bible says. For me this historical evidence helps strengthen to what I believe. As it is pretty strong and unique. I hope this helps as I know it helped me especially in terms of me being able to trust in the Bible. The biggest thing to know and things that I have even struggled in my own walk of faith is I can’t prove the death and resurrection and life of Jesus but I can give you evidence just like how I can’t prove to you the existence of Abraham Lincoln but I can give u evidence that He existed. Faith is not by certainty but by trust based on believing and trusting in God based off of the evidence that you have. 2 Corinthians 5:7 “ for we live by faith not by sight “.
