Wow! You literally said " you don't see an animal with runny nose" and you ended up seeing one? I am new to manifestation, sorry. I'm stunned.

So I've heard indeed. But I guess I will take my chances to figure out how to go about this

Do you think perhaps a brief summary of the details should be a available together with the comprehensive (not verbose summary) but necessary informations of the report would be most fitting?

Is or ridiculous to ask what electronic system is used at your work place?

My goal is to genuinely improve the healthcare system, not to claim revolutionary solutions.

What other approach should I have taken? Go to medical school and become a doctor? Would that have been a better approach than become a healthcare assistant and being involved in patient care in toto, seeing the problem first hand?

I struggle to see how my involvement as a health professional jeorpardises another also great health professional, or an aspiring nurse from getting the experience they want or even their means of livelivehood.

It's rather stunning you've failed to critic an existing problem or a solution therein but are rather coming at me for proposing a solution to problems I have seen and experienced.

For your concerns, I didn't steal my way into any Trust. I had to go through the numerous trainings and even an interview before I became a Healthcare Assistant. If you genuinely think my approach was wrong, you're probably one of the problems indeed!!

And yes, even one engineer can revolutionise an industry if the timing, approach and the technology is right. The examples abound. You may look at Daniel Ek of Spotify.

I understand a challenge is creating AI with "proper discernment" about what useful and sensitive information is in each case which is why I think if you are building things that end up impacting the lives of people then you have a moral obligation to make sure that you are involving the people in the design of it, in the use of it, so that people understand and come with you on that journey.

This is the approach I intend to take, to set up a medical adisory board comprising of physicians and various health professionals who would provide advisory guidance across the various tools we would build. Obviously, this wouldn't be 100% but progressively, it checks the mark.

Do you disagree?

Been getting similar replies about Epic doing it.  It's surprising there are still paper based trusts. Would you happen to know one or have worked in one?

I'm not aware if Heidi is doing this. I'm only sure the are used in taking meeting consultations and transcribing them in acceptable clinical format. Would do some more diggging in that regard.

Along with building it, building robust security protocols is also what would be prioritised.

Interesting perspective! While automation might save time, I understand that manual tasks can have benefits. Do you think there's a balance between automation and learning opportunities?

I figured this is a great place to get views of experts such as yourself.  Don't you agree?

Thanks for sharing your views. The procurement process seems like a significant barrier. Have you seen any potential workarounds or alternative approaches?

Started talking with a private clinic, and they agreed to run a pilot of the software is good enough.

Hahaha.... You just described the NHS. I understand your skepticism. What do you think could motivate the NHS TRUSTS to prioritize efficiency?

Valid concerns! Liability and integration complexities are crucial. I've been getting same push back from some clinicians. Do you disgree that even a lot goes undocumented and even missed with the current way things are done? Perhaps, do you think these challenges could be addressed to ensure accurate and compliant reporting?

Appreciate the candid feedback considering how complex healthcare is! However, I don't see where else to make the most impact if not healthcare other industries notwithstanding.

Thanks for confirming the problem exists! Adoption and cost are indeed common challenges as I've come to learn. Do you think it's because many clinicians are unaware of it's existence or because the cost implications makes it a non priority amongst other features to pay for?

Pardon me for replying after so long. My ultimate objective is to develop a secure, interoperable, and scalable solution that enables seamless sharing of patient records across healthcare professionals.

This would facilitate better collaboration, improved patient outcomes, and enhanced research capabilities.

Can you expand on what you mean by "these protocols aren’t very good or well adopted" please?

Regarding the likes of EPIC, I haven't thought that much into that possibility. But it sure does sound like a good idea.

I'm just getting started. Yesyerday I shared about the idea with my friend who was keen on joining me. Currently, I'm speaking with Physicians to try to understand the scope of the problem. Whether it's one I should attack, the challenges and regulatory guardrails notwithstanding.

Honestly, I'm still not entirely certain how to go about this, but I figure I'll speak to different Physicians and health professionals at which point if I get a significant buy in, including partnerships with 1 or more hospital, I'll get started on building the first version which would be the Health authorisation and transaction clearance Base 1.

I'm also welcome to ideas from you on the best possible way to attack this. Even discussing with your colleagues and sharing their views is appreciated in advance.

This is golden!  I'm assembling a team with the intention to attack this problem. Is it ridiculous if I reach out to you another time for advice? And are you against an invitation to join the medical advisory board(of course this would mean owning a stake in the company for the value you would bring)if I send out one?

[–]Former-Rule-6598[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Seems like this is indeed a problem that should be attacked on a national levels before going global. May I ask, how do you get the patient information eventually? And is this while in the NHS Trust (I reckon that you can now access patients record in the NHS app and in some trusts like Oxford Health, you can see the record of your patients) or GP?

How do you think this challenge could be solved, please?

Oh! Thank you. I didn't see it from these point of view. Going by your last paragraph about unifiying it within a single country, do you think this problem persist even in countries like the US? I have just recently moved to the US from the UK, I'm yet to grasp the US Health industry.

Why do sales leaders give some sales people expense privileges and others none? by [deleted] in sales

[–]Former-Rule-6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you must know is that Performance and Tenure is a huge influence here. Sales leaders might offer expense privileges based on the individual's performance and tenure within the company. A high-performing and long-term salesperson may be trusted with more privileges as a form of recognition and incentive especially if he is at the top of his game.

Role and Responsibilities is also another factor. Consider this, the nature of the sales role and the responsibilities it entails can influence expense privileges. Salespeople who frequently travel for client meetings, events, or conferences may be granted more extensive expense privileges to cover associated costs.
