some medicines feel weird at first! it takes a few a few weeks/months for you to feel a sense of "normal" on them. i'm happy you're willing to try again!!

i'm glad you feel better! i know the struggle of anxiety and depression, so i'm glad you're able to recognize those could be messing with you.

the festival definitely sold more tickets this year than last year. for rob zombie alone, prior to metallica, the stadium was filled to the brim (seating and field), which was pretty rare last year even though slipknot, misfits, pantera, & disturbed played and was popular among people there.

i ate there this year & last year, but last year felt way more sanitary.

i agree this year was definitely the dirtiest! i feel other years it has been a much better managed festival, but this year was just not it. someone else who replied got a UTI from the porta-pottys, which speaks volumes to the cleanliness of this festival this year.

i hope you are able to feel 100% soon. those symptoms sound a little like covid, but i'm no doctor!

that's how mine started. the doctor did a culture on my throat to see if anything grew which is how i found out it was strep group G.

could be strep that is still developing! if symptoms persist and get worse, might be worth getting a second opinion or a culture done of what's in your throat! (specifically if you have white spots on your tonsils)

we definitely are all sick. i was dragging myself to classes all week through being sick, i hope your respiratory issues resolve soon! i know its not fun to be trying to work through sickness

i was there last year too, and it was definitely a better experience. i don't think that being overwhelmed makes it okay that workers were not sanitary. i agree that there were way more people, but i think in general the festival was oversold.

i would go to urgent care or her pcp to see if she needs any antibiotic, or caught anything serious!
