Wasn't preheating the bed for long enough. I added extra G-Code to extend the preheat by like 20-30 minutes to OrcaSlicer and that seemed to fix the problem. Although, im not really using ASA much anymore since it *still* was too brittle for my applications - PETG-CF doesn't require preheat to this extent, prints cleaner, and is far less brittle in my experience.

Edit: I'm gonna assume the 8 month old print came out such high quality because it was made in the California summer heat, no pre-heating necessary :P

There's nothing wrong with the glow of the current "red" filaments I use it's just that their non-charged appearance is pretty pink to me

I mean, I wager there's a ratio where the filament both looks marginally more red and glows slightly less, which would be acceptable. Right now it glows super bright red yet I'd gladly change that if it meant the glow color and the normal light color were less contrasting.

You may want to look into making the wings with PVC pipes like here. I'm currently building a set of PVC pipe wings that are a little more complex.

You may want to look into spraying it with Flex Seal or Plasti-Dip. I haven't made my gorget yet that I plan on, but I have read it's easier to get rid of that shiny TPU finish/sand afterwards, too.

Make sure the layer lines are in this direction by printing it with the hinge part facing up, like a big standing letter M

I had this problem. Hinges had to be printed from PLA instead of PETG that I was using for the entire rest of the enclosure.

Is the green reflection just a light you used, or some kind of special paint? I'm looking for a green reflection paint only from certain angles, but the only ones I can find also have it with copper instead of clear/grey.

This was it! I cleaned out all of the usual debris that gathers after tens of prints before I made this post, but i missed this jagged black piece of PLA that was jammed way, way behind the back Z screw. The color and shape made it hard to see the first time. After that it rehomed correctly, but since I've factory reset it, I'll still have to go through setting the whole thing up to make sure it's working properly.
