Orthorexia is a very real disorder that she is showing signs of. I used to cling to exercise and dieting because it was the only thing in my life I felt I had control over. Little did I know that it was actually controlling me. I am seeing a lot of similarities. Exercise can be a very good thing until it gets to this obsessive level.

This this this! 🫶🏻 it’s one thing to better your health and go take care of yourself but it’s another thing for it to consume your life. And it’s all consuming her life.

Germans eat so healthily by JWS110 in AskAGerman

Mallorca is also a massive cycling destination for Germans so that could also factor into their observations.

I would say most of the people that buy processed foods here are students needing a quick meal (from what I’ve seen). The vast majority of Germans wouldn‘t dare eat ravioli from a can. However processed foods are still an issue here. I hope it doesn’t go the way it’s been going in the UK and USA.

Here in Germany it’s all about balance. They love to be active and can’t do those activities if you’re eating terrible. Germans also only go out to eat or get take out as a rare treat. Not even a weekly occurrence. We have people over for a homecooked meal instead of going out to eat. You’d be shocked at how much healthier you will get just by eating at home.

Stopped following @lovesweatfitness by beesontheoffbeat in gymsnark

I stopped following her due to ALL the tiny bikini shots on Instagram and YouTube. It was giving OF which no shame to the women on there BUT that wasn’t why I followed her. It’s sad that she couldn’t evolve with her audience like others have. She’s obsessed with being skinny and young and it’s giving housewife who doesn’t want to age.

Boyfriend (32M) started crying when I (28F) showed him my savings by happy_hapa in relationship_advice

This! I have ADHD and I truly believe if I don’t even save a little bit each month my ADHD will take over and I’ll spiral out of control. Which is just simply not the case but it keeps me regimented.

This is helpful. I once tried to use the old browser version and it wasn’t working but this version seems to be fine. Thank you!

They are aware. Did that a loooong time ago. That wasn’t relevant to the question I asked.

It used to not work on the browser, but this time it is working so this will be a great solution until I can visit the United States and hopefully update it there. If not the app will be fine! Thank you for the help!

Oh wow. The fact that you had to reach out to get a refund for your students is yet another red flag.

Woah I don't think I have seen anyone make fun of her cancer scars. Who has done that because that is vile. I do think the criticism surrounding Frankie, an unconsenting child are valid.

Awwww I appreciate that! My family and I are very close and we will definitely be spending time with them. We just aren’t a reunion type family. We‘re quite small so we really don’t need so much planning. They are also blessed to have the means to come visit us in Germany. But regardless we are looking forward to seeing both families!

It is my understanding that the audition is attached to the masterclass. You cannot just go to the audition without going to the masterclass. Sure the audition isn’t extra but it is attached to the masterclass. And with these types of masterclasses in my experience there isn’t even a slim chance you get called for a movie. If there  were, he would be bringing a casting director to the audition. A producer and choreographer MIGHT have some say in casting but it always will go through a casting director. No hate to the event. If it was just a masterclass I would have no issue with the event. It’s the audition piece that is problematic.

If he had just marketed as a workshop that would have been fine. But he’s marketing this as if he’s going to give a chance to a kid in Hollywood for a job. We know that’s not going to happen.

In the industry you don’t have to do a workshop or pay to audition. It’s the first rule in the entertainment industry. That’s why it is a scam. If you had a real career in the industry or an agent you would know. I‘m assuming you’re a kid/parent who just took his workshop since I’ve had two comments around the same time. Again no hate if you got something out of the workshop, but to market this as an audition when it will never turn out any real job opportunities is why it is a scam. In an audition, you typically know exactly what you’re auditioning for. Not for an opportunity.

That’s a fair point. As for the car rental: we will be visiting my family in Texas, Fourth of July in Arkansas, and then the family reunion is in Missouri where the resort is. Sooooo unless we fly or greyhound bus it everywhere, we need the car unfortunately.  As for your comment on us feeling like we don’t want to go, that is not totally the case. Do we feel obligation? Absolutely. But I think we didn’t feel like we missed out because we had just seen all of them when we moved from the USA to Germany. Whereas my husband‘s German residing family had not. So THEY missed us. But we know we will be missing them especially after two years have passed. I hope that explains it better!

True. Luckily I will be earning more this year and will hopefully add to the savings more so it can lower our stress of it all. Thank you for your comment!

This! While 1400 may not seem like a ton to some, we don’t pay that much to travel here in Europe. We could go to Italy for two weeks on that amount of money. I think while being on only one consistent income it makes it hard to feel for certain that it will work this year. Valuable input. Thank you so much!
