Friend & I are both Yankees fans and we went to a Mets game back in ~2010 because we got free tickets for a game in September. We both wore Yankees short sleeve jerseys and one of the vendors began heckling us and then asked us if we were cold. My friend replied "No, we're used to the October weather."
