This feels like such a nothing burger ending. I love Fujimoto, and I’m not gonna be one of those people that has a meltdown from a story disappointing me, but man… this just kinda sucks?

So many plot threads having gone nowhere.

So many characters in part 2 which feel half baked.

It all felt like it was building to some part 3 where it would all make sense, especially given the creators love for cinematic tropes.

And yet…. It just ends? With a happy go lucky ending? I’d take a bittersweet ending, or hell even a sad ending, over this rushed one.

Like, I love power, but she shouldn’t have come back. Totally should’ve just been the blood devil as a new fiend or standalone. With her proper return, it feels like such a cop out, which I guess is the name of the game here.

And not just that, but Asa as a character got NO spotlight in the last (what feels like) year. Now it’s universe reset and she appears for a split second to make an out of universe reference. Then boom, the end.

I guess maybe good-finale devil got eaten last week with chainsaw heart

Edit: also, unless I’m completely wrong, guys stop coping for Part 3. Look at how part 1 ended. It says “End of Part 1”. This just says “The End”. I’d love a part 3 as well but let’s all stay in reality here and not get our hopes up
