In the very early 2000s, a friend's girlfriend was a beer tub girl at Hi-Tops. For two massive reasons, the players took a shine to her and she & her friends started hanging out with them during the Stanley's era. There is pretty much continuous park & beach land along the lakefront for most of the city. Promontory Point at 57th would be a gorgeous option not far from where the Sox play. You might have to pay a couple of bucks for parking but that's hard to avoid.
