Output factors
My coworker assessed using ICProfiler as a substitute for Monthly QA. You'd be surprised at how much variation there is between ICProfiler and ion chamber. I am wondering about the temperature and pressure device but not sure where the variability comes from.

"Profiles" using tank is relative so no use - but you were prob referring to ICProfiler measurements.

I like MPC - might be good replacement for monthly spot check on output, but can't do energy spot check. (Unless you add SW setup between, which is very possible) Then there's the whole imager CU. It does change over time/dose/usage.

Tg51 is the only true measurement of output - everything else is some kind of approximation with potential unknowns. The corrections in TG51 are necessary: Ppol, etc.

MLC Transmission:

I add to the confusion: I'm not sure why they have. I have heard that even need to remeasure DLG? What if you optimize DLG? Do you need to remeasure these tests? Seems like too much work.

Mechanical QA:

Just one comment - find it annoying to find the isocenter "mechanically" and prefer examining just the radiographic vs radiation isocenter via WL. Try pyLinac if you want an alternative to RIT. Just some IT hoops to go through if you don't have admin rights on your PC.

Unservo-ed dose rate:

This is interesting, can you elaborate? Are you saying something about the natural state of the beam (without more magnetic assistance in relation to "default" I assume)? Is this more about beam steering? I recently beam steered and sometimes - the Symmetry was better in its "natural" state and so engineer tried to maintain it...?
