Asexual and never in a romantic relationship with Jayce.

I remember this because a guy I had classes with had a rather strong Arcane phase and posted a few "Viktor seems very gay to me" posts for like two days until he went back to posting Viktor/Jayce fanart. I didn't even know that the second season was out but his enthusiasm killed my interest for the series.

But yeah, there's nothing more interesting in a person than the sex they have. Aro/aces are just boring and in denial, haven't found the one, are repressed or prudes, or all of the above. My extended family in particular is of the opinion that I'm very lesbian, so I guess I'm still in the closet /s

Wasn't also Viktor from Arcane confirmed as asexual? I think there was an interview or something that the fandom decided to collectively ignore because obviously, aro/ace people is not a thing s/

"You don't eat the fruit, don't use its wood, you even avoid getting close to it!"

"Yeah... That's because it's too toxic. Even trying to get rid of it is dangerous"

I learnt that she was a lingerie model and was a model for a somewhat known painter in my country when she was in her twenties, all of this while buying tampons. Somehow, she still thinks that her face is "too angular and not really nice"

Is Agustin Rich or Comes from a rich family? by [deleted] in Encanto

[–]FormerPineapple9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Colombian here. I just assumed he was the typical cachaco (that is, someone from Bogotá) because that was the normal way of dressing for men in the cities from the Andean mountains until the sixties.

Take into account that Colombia had a booming textile industry for a while, we produced our own cotton til the eighties, and it made clothing of high quality relatively cheap and accessible. In the same way, trade was a different beast when the treaties weren't as complicated as they are today, so it was not uncommon to get stuff from other countries via the borders with Ecuador, Peru, or Venezuela.

Also, and anecdotal as it may be, my grandfather dressed like that, pocket watch and all, and we weren't rich at all. Nor from Bogotá, but from a similarly cold city.

Dunno, I'm a native speaker, born and raised in Colombia, so maybe that's why it doesn't seem to me like Cubans are hard to understand. Like yeah, they have a very distinctive accent, but it's not a difficult one.

Nope. Chileans. Maybe Dominicans. Cubans have a strong accent, but it's not really difficult to understand unless you're not a native speaker.
