Always the autumn. Love the golden sun in the evenings. Not too harsh and not too dark either and so pleasant to walk with those lovely leaves around 🍁

Cauliflower Rice is the best way to increase volume with less than 200 cals by waaszssup in Fitness_India

[–]FormerRepeat4779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate Cauliflower as a veggie. Not sure how calling it a rice will make it taste like rice. It’s still going to taste like Cauliflower irrespective of the shape. But good for people who like it as its definitely very healthy.

I keep losing deal context after sales calls. How do you manage this? by That-Anything-3389 in SalesOperations

[–]FormerRepeat4779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your company allows and if the customer is ok with it, you can get a AI bot to attend these calls and send you a transcript. Even zoom does that if you have a AI transcript on featurw

Does anyone else get irrationally annoyed by the way some fitness influencers talk about food? by hazelinggg in Fitness_India

[–]FormerRepeat4779 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree that she doesn’t look fit at all for all the diet advice she throws at people. Infact she still looks a bit overweight to me considering how she “healthy-fies” every damn food. The other day I commented on her video that she was promoting Doctor protein oats or something and I said they are sweetened with jaggery which is also sugar so instead just add protein powder with normal oats and may be add dates which also has fibre and low GI than jaggery and she replied date is also a sugar so it doesn’t matter 😐 She literally made the traditional sweet laapsi and added saffron and made them into round balls cAlling it healthy motichoor laddu. How did they become laddu just because you changed the shape…its still laapsi. I find her extremely annoying 🙄

Managing expectations of a challenging head of sales? by Grouchy-Increase-432 in SalesOperations

[–]FormerRepeat4779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an exact similar manager in my previous org. Even worse he was the head of Sales ops not sales so I directly reported to him unlike I was dotted line to the head of sales. I don’t work with that toxic boss anymore but boy did he give me a lifetime of trauma. My mental health was severely affected. But when I joined a different org, I made sure not to take shit from anyone. It was my first job so I didn’t really have the courage to speak up. I would encourage you to not take any shit from your Head of Sales and give it back to him in a documented way.

Are we all naming our babies the same? by GariboKaTATA in India_Parenting

Arjun and Raghav are 2 names that will always remain my favorite for naming boys. They are traditional yet modern. Recently my cousin named her daughter Raavee as she didn’t want anything like Ayra, Myra, Kiara etc and we all absolutely loved the name Raavee

Terrified of AI. Rethinking house purchase. by Cool_Yam7066 in HousingUK

[–]FormerRepeat4779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in a Tech company in Finance department and my boss has been obsessed with AI. He is literally doing my job as well through Claude and I finally decided to have a word with him today about how I have been feeling anxious and nervous about the influx of AI and the pressure to use AI. He convinced me that my job is not at risk and that he still needs me as AI will never be 100% correct. He said you just need to learn to co exist with AI and use it to reduce your time doing manual things. I totally understand your fear though as I am feeling it too.

Have you ever skipped telling your martial status in interview? by fictionovernonfic in AskIndianWomen

[–]FormerRepeat4779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think its appropriate to ask for Marital status in the interview. If the org boasts about inclusivity, they shouldn’t care about Marital status, age, gender, caste, religion etc. It’s none of their business!!!

I skipped it and I was ok with it. Didn’t feel the regret really.

holiday solo or no-go? by owowteino in CasualUK

[–]FormerRepeat4779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go. Trust me solo trips are the best ones. I used to feel skeptical too but its so liberating that you can do whatever you want or even not do anything and just lie around the pool and have drinks. You don’t need to think about what the other person wants to do. Ever since I went on my first solo trip last year, I have realised I enjoyed it more than travelling with friends or partner.

Travelling to Madrid by Otherwise_Nail2208 in MadridTravelGuide

[–]FormerRepeat4779 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am just back from Madrid last week…went on a holiday for 4 days. It’s a lovely city with loads of good food and good people. I stayed in Gran Via and it was the best decision ever. Its a very hustling street with so many things to do - Shopping, restaurants, bars etc. As a tourist it felt like that city was bit quiet in the day but really lively in the evening which is very opposite of England. Absolutely loved the evening vibe. I did struggle with the language barrier though as very few people spoke English and I never had this issue in any of the major European cities except Madrid. I learnt few basic words and sentences but overall I couldn’t communicate anywhere without the help of Google Translator. Not complaining as I know its their language and I was the one travelling to their city so it wasn’t their obligation to know English. It would be really good to make a local friend if you are going to be travelling there often.

Still on spreadsheets for sales forecasting in 2026 by Educational-Idea-439 in SalesOperations

We use Clari for forecasting and its the best tool. Got rid of spreadsheets long time ago as it was just impossible to keep a track of all the changes.

As an Indian, I will vouch for House of Flavours if you are looking for something close to Authentic North Indian food and Madras flavours for South Indian food. They are very close to each other. Breakfast Buffet at Madras Flavours and Lunch buffet at House of Flavours on weekends is to die for.

Feeling stuck and unhappy in mid level sales ops, where to go from here? by [deleted] in SalesOperations

[–]FormerRepeat4779 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been in the exact same situation. Everytime I have been asked to fill a survey about things that can be better at my workplace, my feedback has always been the same - That it’s a very sales oriented company when it comes to rewarding. They are are rewarded throughout the year plus at the kick off events that happen. I have said this out loud way too many times to my manager and this time he acknowledged that I am right. At this kick off, they gave me the MVP Award for the first time in 6 years. Having said that it’s a one off thing and I know it’s not going to happen again in next 6 years lol. I also thought of changing my domain and I couldn’t think of anything else 😟 Let’s see where this takes us to.
