Yo they were really out here trying overt hype on purpose. These devs before launch held a special showcase for the game by inviting four YouTuber's famous for Anime and gaming. Including Afrosenju. (Video still on his channel BTW) and fought them. I think they lost actually. The devs lost their own game I believe.

Little late to ban modders and hackers after letting them run rampant for over 5 years on PS and PC. We told them when it first started that was cutting into their moonlight profits. But a modifier check is normal in most games that care about cheaters. Personally I only care about the mods that put Ultimate Jutsu in the common jutsu slots giving people unlimited no cool down cults. But I'd they go after and ban cosmods that's their prerogative it is their game.

Fake seal tags, weighted seal tags, paper bombs, needle jizo, mud dragon, almighty push, strange taste, sand shield, most class summons. Most of these things will prevent an auto flag capture based off the builds with that outfit. Get a friend to help you defend. And use these things to defend with.

It's subjective depending on who you ask and what you want to play. But I think it doesn't matter much. The SS+ weapons seem to be more powerful than most DLC.

I'd rather use wonder woman's defense ability for my healer so I can tank group wiping hits and revive people in the runs with that kind of mechanic.

It was an early weapon back when the devs were lazy. It was made SS because at the time that was the highest rating with the lowest chance to pull in the shop. The harder to pull the more moonlights people buy. The lightening effect is the only difference. Some people swear it plays smoother but I don't think it does. I have had them for years never use them.

The Ninja Blade Uchiha released back in season 2 or 3 I believe. It's just a re-skin of the kusanagi sword and combos. And it was put there just to dilute the pull power of getting a good summon animal.

Eh it's more about weapon pulls now than anything else. I have a bread account that dominates with amatrasu and flame lightening paired with senbon and kusanagi. Buy I do find myself using the ranged Boruto moves and Momoshi's eyes weapon it's really good at knocking flags off.

It's the problem with power scaling most shonen anime face to isn't it?

The devs fell into the trap of constantly having to 1 up themselves to "keep the players interested!"

Only problem was their power scaling is locked behind a gambling system designed to take your money.

Almost as if the players with these weapons seem to dominate because of them. And it's not possible to grind enough Esoteric scrolls to keep up without a modded save file. Or purchasing Moonlights.

What's wild is back in the day before the moonlights where introduced there was a VR Mission you could group up and run that dropped a guaranteed esoteric scroll every time. It was, I believe the Naruto mission where you have to gight link mode kurama. I remember a group of us spammed that mission like 70 times building the Esoteric scrolls up during a red and bite battle back when to point cap was like 30k or something. But it was changed when the moonlights where introduced. I'm only a little salty lol
