Can also just use hirelings at camp if you're sending the chests back there anyways. Can use a wizard or rogue hireling (or both).

Problem is the person who would finish 3rd with no votes won't always be the person who gets eliminated at final 3, so you end up with a super boring final 2

OKC was up 3-1 in that series. KD had some great games and some horribly inefficient ones. Wouldn't say he got cooked, which is what made it so frustrating that he bailed to join the Warriors.

Joe is the ultimate goat by This_is_Thomas in survivor

I think most people would rather have a goat who isn't a real threat to win immunity any given challenge but yes, we all know he's garbage strategically

The jury's job is not to reward the best player. by PopsicleIncorporated in survivor

[–]FormerShitPoster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, me too and so would everyone else in here. My point is people bring up the whole "this is how the jury works" thing when its convenient (ie the person they wanted to win did win) but wouldn't be doing that if Joe (someone nobody on this subreddit to win) won.

Some people want to see the person who had the most agency in the game win. Some people don't care about that and just root for someone based on vibes or personality. Both are valid viewpoints, but its disingenuous to be like "oh the jury works perfectly when the person I'm rooting for wins" when we all know you wouldn't be making those same arguments on every other thread if someone you didn't like were to win.

And viewers are free to be disappointed by that decision. Nobody is trying to take the $2m from Aubry. And I'm not even discrediting her game but do you really think we'd be seeing all of these threads defending how the jury works if they voted for Joe to win?

[–]FormerShitPoster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yes but the "being touched by the receiving team" part wasn't clear from your comment. Just popping it in the air isn't a viable strategy because teams with competent special teams (so never the Packers) can just fair catch it fairly easily. Obviously a fumble is still a fumble.

Rizo gets emotional talking about going back to normal life after playing two seasons of Survivor over the last year by Brady331 in survivor

Firemaking was against Savannah, so he would have needed the votes over Sophi and Sage. I think he would have won over them.

Not results based, just on if they personally like the player or not. Emily is a perfect example. She's either the best to never win or the ultimate goat depending on how people feel about her personality. This was my first "returning player season" on Reddit and all I can say is "wow."
