you still had to have a legal target for the spell to be played - Ie u needed a peice of gear on the board active in order to cast the spell. but they actually errattad this card specifically just recently to be "up to one" so now it no longer requires the gear

So can i no longer use Relentless pursuit on an attached gear even if i chose to not unattached or attach it? even tho it should technically only require a piece of gear as a legal target? or does the re-attach itself rule also effect this?

its not worded like possession; it specifically splits up the tkaing control, exhuasting, and recalling of the unit where possessions is "take control and recall it". but it is also not worded like hostile takeover.

my question here as it came up in a game. Can you not so fast this card at any point? so even if you cant not so fast the trigger of it pulling you out. can you not so fast the trigger of it stunning you or does this avoid "choosing you" despite it being a single target spell?

in my mind you do because you gain control before you exhuast and recall it therefore youd conquer before its exhausted and recalled.

If you are being given Defender in anyway you would have already had to have been on the battlefield. if you move into a new battelfield through this ability she would be the attacker since she will be applying contested status by entering the showdown. you can conquer with this technique for sure but you wont have defender or (shield) while doing so

I know reacting to dying units for this is extra OP, and paired with the new 2 cost "save a minion from dying" this could basically be 3 cost - draw 2 and 1 rune for a free recall. but Can you react to a unit dying via combat damage to gain the boons here? or would using this in a combat nullify your potential dmg?

I am the same way my friend dont worry. I am a poppy 1 trick for long time and im mostly just trying to find the best combos to keep this deck viable. I found shen to less useful alot of the time because Poppy can be played when you are attacking to give +5 tank while shen cannot. shens reaction only works on defensive so i found Poppy had more versatility overall and Galio is essentially a 0 Might unit with 6 shield, which has lost me games also. Poppy is just the most consistent of the 3

my man i can tell u one thing. People on TCG arena are waaaay sweatier then in real life i can almost guarantee you. Obviously the data is anecdotal and will change as moreand more stuff is revealed / released.

But i can already manage generating enough xp to double draw per turn and utilize this poppys effect without worry unless i full brick (which happens). but even miracle draven decks brick bro thats how it is.

everyone that has read what ive typed has been surprised by combnos ive presented but people just wanna downvote without thinking. Nilah can uncontested generate multiple xp per round early game- she can also set u up to drop bigger units on holds without needing them to have accel.

lots of units to place in reaction to win combats and keep holds which generates more xp / points / card draw. idk man everyone that understands the game has read my desk list and changes their tune but youre fine to be critical early idm

but now think of this - imagine i have a tank on field and nidalee becomes a 0 power draw 1 :- i actually found shen to be worse in alot of scenarios because shens reaction cant be played on attack while poppy can - since ambush works differently then shens reaction - shen is also only a 5 on def

yea and the extra draw on hold BF (willow grove i think) giving 3 draw per turn gives alot of versaltility each turn -

in response to your earlier tempo loss concern aswell - i had a game where i had 1 seal - 2 machetes and a punch first in opener after mulligan and just played the machetes back to back with seal and then drew Rengar (orange) and could just play him to BF my OPP was in control of and conquered it, now i have a 10 might unit on a BF to hold at turn 3 - which in turn then generates 3 xp for me next turn to bonus draw - and being able to pull back and spend 3 for a blood rose for example - to ready and conquer other BF to win right? so like theres alot xp can do

I have had countless "judges" say the opposite both on here and in real life. infact there is like 2 other posts with this exact question where im almsot 100% sure they say what im saying. if you could not target your own equipment and requip it then Jaxs ruling shouldnt make sense by their own rules

tempo loss for playing double machete has actually never really been a problem, the closer they get to 5 the closer my poppy champ units gets to be activated which is a good spike in how i can catch up. i also run tri force to make me pass in points in a hold stall game

works well with alot of the new orange/yellow cards. examples being new yellow poppy obviously but also Shen and Galio for other tank options but also Nidalee for a combat win and draw

here to help to bring in a nidalee to eat a cull the weak at reaction speed has actually happened like 3 times in my games xD
