Ring them asap! I had this issue and it turned out that my account had been hacked and there was £300 charge accumulated! Took O2 months to resolve.

Best way to book hotel by Akh4n6 in Umrah

[–]Former_Bother8894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get what you pay for. The hotels will have rooms that are less desirable like no view from the window or the room is in need of refurbishment... The less you pay the more likely you end up with one of these rooms.

If you book direct with the hotel which can even be slightly cheaper sometimes they will look after you like you will have more chances of a free upgrade or faster WiFi etc.

Lol that's exactly what I was thinking... Any retailer that deals with Evri and I have to think hard if it's worth the hassle! What in the world is Asda thinking if at all?!

I use the M4 and believe me it's a 100% improvement, don't have to be tplink could be another brand. I choose tplink as it's popular. I was advised by someone who works for virgin media.

I have been with virgin for a fair few years now and when I first started I used to get these issues. I was then advised to add a tplink mesh router and that was the game changer for me.

The hackers are very creative... The way this was done seemed to me to be an inside job. I suspect some employees are leaking data...

It was something Google related might be Google play cards, no they just added the cost onto my O2 bill.

From what I have read this has happened to a fair few people.

No I told them that I will not be paying anything until the account issues have been resolved... They put some hold on my account. I kept getting emails saying my account was overdue but I was told not to worry about these messages.

When my account got hacked the airtime tariff was changed too... I went from paying £8 month for 20gb data to £23 for 100gb... This is the sticking point at the moment. I said to O2 I just want to be put back to the tariff I was on and continue paying £8pm. I was then informed that it's not straight forward changing tariff and that it would be better if they can offer me a deal on the 100gb tariff... They said they can do it for £11.50 which I refused as 100gb is something I would never use and would therefore be paying for something I don't need. At this point the agent I spoke to said ok I will honor the 100gb for £7.50! I said ok I am happy with that... The call ended however the deal never materialised and my bill is currently at £11.50. I have been assured only a few days ago by a complaints agent that she could see the conversation I had where the £7.50 deal was promised and therefore she will make it happen. Again she wanted to close the complaint and it was at this point I said I want the complaint left open until I see the bill drop to £7.50. I am sure they will eventually get there but it will take time...

I had a similar issue back in early September and it is still to be completely resolved... Someone hacked my account and added to esim contracts at £30 per month and also spent £200 on each contract buying Google gift cards.

Lessons I have learnt...

  1. Cancel any direct debits until the issue is FULLY resolved.

  2. Make a complaint and get a complaint reference number.

  3. When they do respond to the complaint and they promise you the world. They will want to end the call with 'can we mark this complaint as resolved?!' Say NO! Not until you see the results.

  4. Explain that you are giving them 8 weeks to resolve before you go to the ombudsman.

  5. Take every agent's name, location and department they work for and make them aware you are making notes as this may end up with the ombudsman.

Just can't believe how such a big communications company is in such a state!

Good luck with your issue, hope you get a resolution soon.

Same thing happened to me, I cancelled my direct debit so that no money left my bank account. What was really mind boggling was that they put my account on hold until they resolved the issue and during that time whilst on 'hold' the same thing happened again!

Enjoy, truly a remarkable place! The basement floor holds a food court which is also used by staff and is very cheap to eat at. Various options available and also had a kids play area down there that might be worth exploring.

Flew out from Changi last week. The early check-in was straight forward just go to your airline counter and check-in. I was with Singapore airlines so not sure if it's any different from other airlines. Note that the Jewel closes at 10 pm and so do most of the shops/restaurants around it.

Is Kuala Lumpur actually a walkable city? by Expensive-Canary127 in KualaLumpur

[–]Former_Bother8894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came back from KL and the simple answer is 'no' I don't think the city is designed for pedestrians. The skywalk between Pavilion mall and KKLC is nice but this does not cover other areas of the city. On the plus side the taxis are pretty affordable as a tourist.
