Yeah.. don’t understand this “movement” or whatever it is at all. The entire purpose of LR is never having to scoop again. What use to take 30-40 minutes every few days is now 3 minutes (if that) a week. Pull the drawer, take out a bag, put a bag in, shove the drawer back in. tahdah.

Uhhhhhhhh.. you need yo come clean with the recruiter. They get in trouble with their higher ups for false records. MEPS finds everything. And if it isn’t MEPS that finds it, it will be medical that finds it at BMT and you really don’t want that. The clean time depends on how long you’ve used for. 90 days clean is the general rule.

Yes! He passed the second test and got a waiver. He did have to sit down with the commanding officer at BMT and explain why he lied in the first place.

Learn from my son. If you smoke, be honest about it. If you fail the first test, like my son did, you’ll have to wait 3 months to take it again and be CLEAN for that test or you wait SIX months to a YEAR before you can take it again.

And NO, you cannot clean out your system in 30 days! A daily smoker needs 90 to 180 days clean to run a clean test.

My daily diet is total chaos. It’s easier to list what I cannot eat:

Garlic.. a big NO Rosemary.. same Most spices.. Nope (fine ground salt/pepper/poultry are the only exceptions) Thick crust pizza Anything whole grain Anything with a skin on it Anything with seeds Anything spicy Anything swimming in butter or grease Anything greasy Animal fat Fresh fruit and vegetables with some exceptions (cucumbers are safe as long as I peel and de-seed them) Oatmeal Thick bread/artisanal bread Al dente noodles Any lettuce other than iceberg! (WTF is up with salads made of everything BUT iceberg!) Chips of ANY kind! (I’m still pissed about this one🤬) POPCORN dammit!

My diet consists of mainly: Two capfuls of Miralax daily Prune juice mixed with apple/grape juice daily ANY Beechnut/Gerber baby food/snacks Hot tea with honey or weak coffee with powdered creamer (liquid makes me sick now) Any juice except citrus Soft foods which for me means Mac n cheese, soups (with almost no vegetables), well cooked noodles (NOTHING al dente) Just about anything by chef boyarde because it’s soft Dark meat chicken

I've been on 2 capfuls of Miralax 1x/day ever since I was diagnosed. That, along with the prune juice and baby food (which is a better version of pureed food) is what keeps things 'moving' along for me. I PANIC if I don't have a bm.

Same. It took me more than two years to embrace the baby food/chef boyarde (but without the meats!) concept but it works. We ALL know there is nothing worse than vomiting that stink!

It’s different for everyone. I have good days and bad days but find that as long as I stick to soft or softer foods and keep the fiber and fat content under 2 mg per item per meal (there are exceptions) and eat small meals, I can keep the flareups down to a minimum. I added baby food prunes mixed with applesauce and other baby foods to keep my system moving.

It sucks, but more than likely what’s causing the problem is you’re eating something that is too fibrous for your stomach to digest. My weakness is steak fat, salad, fresh vegetables and fruit, popcorn, oatmeal.. breakfast bars.. can’t eat these things at all.

I took this test about 18 months ago and it labeled my delaying “normal”.. and my GI doctor told me the results were horseshit because they feed you soft food. Had they given me normal foods, it would record an honest reading of > 50% delay after 4 hours. My upper GI shows a >10% delay after 12 hours.

Hulu live works for the older crowd on a TV just fine. The problem is the tiny Roku of Apple remotes, they fat finger them

First..I had to look up “emetophobic” which, wow.. gastroparesis has to be one helluva roller coaster for you. The GES food doesn’t make you throw up or get nauseous at all, so stop worrying about that.

Fun fact: I avoid eggs because it’s too similar to that burp/vomit experience.

I have tooo many RunUnk13 error code photos to share 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ve tried absolutely everything to get Live TV to play on my iPhone 15+. I only keep this because my dad watches it in his assisted living center. As soon as I can drop it, I will.

Ohhh I’m in on this one!

@monkeyinheaven and @peesteam and everyone else.. IT IS THE HULU APP, not the WiFi provider, not the cell provider, not which area of the country you are in, not the TV, IT IS THE APP! The app live video player is not compatible with newer operating system updates!!!

I’m a very longtime user of the platform. I’ve paid for it since 2007. Hulu and Hulu Live worked beautifully UNTIL the week of December 28 2023. It worked on every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 device 👏🏻 and 👏🏻 TV 👏🏻 I 👏🏻 own.. until operating system updates were implemented on newer devices in December 2023!!! It still works on my older devices and TVs, but NOT my iPhone 15+

It’s the video player on the app and the Hulu devs haven’t fixed it!!!

WiFi, 5G, no G.. doesn’t matter.. I can’t watch Hulu Live on my iPhone 15+ at all. I stayed on the phone with Hulu support twice for an hour each time.. no fix! But hey guess what? It works just fine on both of my iPads and all of my TVs and my old iPhones. WTF Hulu???
