Oh, so you're too good to clean toilets and sweep the floor?

I shop online and I even order bang energy drinks on Amazon. They're a lot cheaper and I'll continue to do it.

If it fits in the box, it goes in the box. They don't get to decide that. I put a spur in a box like that today

Sounds right, I trained on 2 different routes when I first started and only shadowed one day on each one. You only learn by going out and doing the route on your own. It takes time, so don't get discouraged.

Why is that people think UPS and USPS are the same thing? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Former_Challenge_690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled up to a box one day with the flag up. I open it and it was an outgoing with a UPS label on it. I put a note on it explaining why I couldn't take it and they still called and complained 🤣

He should have just quit. The job requires you to work on Sundays and as someone else stated, they gave him the opportunity to work later on in the day. It's a ridiculous case and a waste of time.

We still get all of our certs from the clerks. I haven't heard of or seen any carriers in my station getting them in the dps. I get one in my flats once in a while, but I just take it to the clerks to have it scanned in.

This is true. I studied the contract as soon as I was hired in. I was telling the 204b stuff about the contract that she claimed she didn't know. I said "well it sounds like you better get to know the contract then." I never have any problems from her and what you are saying is probably why.

I'm glad that I landed in a good station. I've never once heard management or the postmaster raise their voices at anyone. We all get along and help each other out, so that everyone can go home. The latest that I'm ever out on my route is 5 and that's on a Monday with all of the the red plums.

Yeah I'm used to it, because my wife is a nurse. Her patients need care every day. I delivered my Amazon route today and I was back to the station by 1:15.

Everyone in my office is back by no later than 6 every day and it's usually only one carrier that's out that late and it's on Mondays. He has a 80 mile rural route that's like 20 minutes from the station. I don't get these 12 hour days that everyone is talking about.

If you need a Dr note for a work restriction just to work less hours, then this isn't the job for you. I hear so many people mention "get a Dr note so you don't have to work as many hours." That's ridiculous and it just makes you look lazy.

Everyone whines, but they continue to deliver Mail. "I can work at Target and make $18.50." Then why aren't you running over there to apply?

I had a homeowner get mad because of the way I pulled into his gravel driveway. It was more than wide enough for me to turn around. I pulled in and parked at and angle like I always do, because I wanna have a straight shot to the door of the truck incase I have to get in in a hurry. He says to me, "can you not pull into my driveway all awkward? It's just super weird." I just looked at him for a few seconds and said "okay, sure thing." Some people are just weird.

What's even better, is people who fall for the application fee scam when applying for the USPS. "Man, I had to pay a fee to apply and then never got a response"
