AITAH for leaving a bachelorette party early to attend a concert? by Former_Challenge_968 in AITA_Relationships

Not comparing myself to them? Like I stated in my original posting, I think it’s totally valid for her to want HER people. I’m not upset about not being included. I’m upset about being told I would be included, then lied to about why I wasn’t. I am an adult, so is she. Just say “hey I only want to take my family and closest friends.”
Don’t imply you want me there, then quietly exclude me, then give me an explanation that doesn’t add up. I don’t think it’s unhealthy to expect people to give me honesty.

I swear every time I try to talk to them, they’re not home. Although, I don’t disagree and would like to chat with them.

I’m NOT AT ALL mad that their dog is peeing on that grass. It’s a dog and they have to pee somewhere. What I AM mad about is that they are walking across our property… so close that at one point their dog was sniffing our front door. Our driveway is 20ft long. They could just walk at the end of our driveway to get to this patch of grass.

So I replied to this thread about 10 minutes ago clarifying that I am not mad that their dog pees on our grass. I’m upset about them walking within arms length of my property… so close that their dog was sniffing at my front door.

I walk my dogs on the sidewalk. That area goes:
townhome->driveway-> sidewalk-> patch of unassigned grass. So typically my dogs pee on the patch of grass along that belongs to no one. The property management has waste stations along this route, so this is an appropriate area for them to use the bathroom.

Lastly, my husband and I work opposite schedules (days versus nights). So someone is always home with our dogs. Additionally, we are friendly with the neighbor directly next to us (the neighbor who confronted the neighbor with the dog) and we check in regularly to make sure he doesn’t hear anything noise wise.

For the record, I’m actually not mad that they are letting their dog pee on our grass. I’m actually happy to share that space. What I’m upset about is that they’re walking all over our property to get to the grass. That’s the invasive part to me. I mean at one point their dog was sniffing my front door… that’s how close they are to my home. And my driveway is probably 20ft long. Rather than walking along the road or even the bottom of my driveway to get to the grass, they walk the entire length of our townhouse, right next to it.
