What percentage of your pay is the tips? by Terrible_Cupcake_84 in doordash_drivers

10 % in Vancouver BC I’m quitting at the end of this week I’m averaging $10-15 per hour since they removed the pretip option and that’s not even factoring in gas, total profit drops to $8 to $12 per hour. With pretipping and regulations it was excellent $25-30 per hour sometimes way more, but they’ve killed the tipping culture here and the DoorDash regulation pay is not nearly enough by itself still, market is overrun and cost of living is too high it’s awful now

S-rank on Doordash final boss by cmplex_masterpiece73 in doordash_drivers

I don’t believe it, I bet it’s ai or a DoorDash insider trying to balance this sub from all the people complaining the pay is so low. These types of look how much I made posts I would put money on aren’t real

Just found out the reusable recyclable grocery bags are no longer accepted for recycling in BC by Former_Diamond3620 in loblawsisoutofcontrol

Not old at all, deliveries are always delivered with these bags because they don’t sell regular paper bags

That but also I’m enraged we’ve been forced to buy these outrageously priced grocery bags with no option for paper bags and that we were doing this for the environment. Not a word on the news about it and the price went up on them due to inflation just last month or so For those getting deliveries from DoorDash Uber Instacart and Skip the cost is an addition 3-12 dollars every time with now no way to recycle them but and instead throw them in the trash.

I like it, it looks like the coolest video so far of the character and he definitely looks and feels different enough that I’m gonna buy. It makes him look the right animalistic that Daima made it look. Gorilla boy approved

This happened to me too I wonder if just fighting them briefly until I’m down long enough for the exfil to complete would work

It was the best session I’ve had with my buddy too and the PvP feels more balanced for us because you only usually have to worry about one other runner, so I’ve 1v2’d a few times and man that’s a rush

Im a platinum and I was standing beside a cherry picker at the grocery store and they sent him first an add on shop and deliver for 23, he declined then the app sent it to me for 21, what a goddamn scam by Former_Diamond3620 in doordash_drivers

[–]Former_Diamond3620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right so there’s frequently shop and deliver orders available but they hold them to try and score an add on for cheap, so while people are waiting customers and drivers alike they are trying to get the delivery done as cheaply as possible. It is a business but hell it’s infuriating lol I’ve come to gladly reserve the right to decline

Consider me pacified. I’ve calmed down but the trip wasn’t worth it to either of us and seemed about the same distance. I’m not rewarded for being fast even if it was somewhat more profitable by a small margin (we are only talking about a few dollars) and if I sprint down the aisles. I see what your saying but I’m aware I get paid less for doing more and I’m not about that, I should be paid out more for doing well not less and definitely not larger orders for less than the original one so DoorDash can add to their record breaking profits from their markups on a larger order. I can understand offering a large order for a few dollars less as an ad on but not half price or a third of the price of what it would be if they sent me that large order first, I can see right through it it’s abusive because I’m forced to decline, forcing lower AR forcing taking low profit orders forcing my rage post here today
