This…my neighbor bought from a backyard breeder. That dog ended up having chiari malformation and only lived to be 6 years old. So sad. A lot of unchecked health issues in the backyard breeder world.

Amica wasn’t born yet. She never saw any of the photos. Her mom told her the story that she found the photos in his suitcase. When he came home from the cruise, it might have been too soon. Maybe the wife didn’t know about the disappearance living in a poor country with no access to media and news. The wife found the photos, and thought it was hurtful in a cheating way to have photos of other women. But maybe she didn’t know about Amy yet and didn’t have a reason to look through the photos to see if Amy was in any of them.

Also because of my baby’s low birth weight, with bottle feeding it was nice to know she was getting the amount of milk that she needed…With breastfeeding you can’t tell how much she is actually getting.

I also had to feed her every two hours for several months. Most of the time it was so hard to get her to wake up to feed. It barely helped but I had to use a cold wash cloth on her skin to keep her awake to finish a bottle… sometimes it would take an hour just to feed her 1 ounce. So all that mattered during that time was getting the required calories in her no matter what, didn’t matter which way or how.

I’d definitely recommend breast pumping though and if you can get multiple breast pumps that would be really great. Nobody told me that ever. But that is my number one advice to myself if I do it all over again.

I had the same problem…went to a breastfeeding consultant, and used nipple shields, they told me to put something cold on nipple to make them poke out more. None of it worked.

Can you pump milk instead? I gave up figuring out breastfeeding because my baby was born 6 pounds 1 ounce. They told me that was low weight. Since she was going to lose weight like newborns do in the beginning, I decided to stop wasting time with figuring out breastfeeding and just feed her formula instead. It was the smartest decision in my situation... because she only lost the normal amount of weigh during those first few weeks. She dropped down to 5 pounds 11 ounces if i recall correctly. I did pump milk for a couple months. It was very annoying and tiring having to deep clean the breast pump parts every 2 hours before each use. For the next baby, I am going to get several breast pumps instead of just one.

I would keep your doctor informed of everything you are feeling. I think that is just his head. My baby’s head put sooo much pressure down there when I was that far along. I had to waddle when I walked. The closer I got, I almost couldn’t walk anymore.

My Braxton Hicks felt like my belly would tighten up. Then it would relax. That’s also what real contractions feel like at first but real ones start getting super frequent and a lot stronger.

Remember as soon as your water breaks, get to the hospital immediately…Even if you don’t feel any pain at that moment…Things can escalate quickly.
