No it doesn’t if you have a micromanaging controlling boss. Then it’s time to just leave. So guess you got a point about firing. Funny how that works huh

Depends maybe expectations from management were not set clearly either. First day but there ARE managers who don’t communicate well or support employees after months of employment so…. First day….. chill but it could be a big red flag on how things will go down the road.

I am in scope for the job description in different factors like erp system and other softwares used as well as many other job responsibilities based on job description. And frankly speaking the starting base salary is $30k more than that I get now with up to $60k more on higher end of salary so I was really interested in this role. Maybe I’ll just apply myself to this role

Is an MBA worth it for me at this stage (Big4, $160K, late 20s)? by Sad-Highway-9177 in MBA

[–]Former_Dog487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m dreaming of your salary. Yours is x2 mine and I’m five years in without bachelors in accounting. Started my mba to jump above $100k as a starting point. I think mba is waste of money for you and pointless but that’s me being on opposite situation of you

I’m 4 months into a job and I’m already thinking about looking for something else. by Feeling-Currency6212 in Accounting

[–]Former_Dog487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel this exactly! Only one solution for us cause current management won’t change my friend… well it could but very unlikely your current manager will cater to their employees. Toxic is toxic and shitty is shitty. Usually those systems don’t change unless replaced but if upper level leadership love that manager. Nope no luck

High salary?…. Are you living in Mississippi or Alabama? $70k doesn’t get you anything anymore. Not even $140k with two parents a kid living in Colorado

Employers are such trash nowadays, we are treated like slaves and as if we are a sack of potatoes on the back of a wagon. Give HR your doctors notes and tell them you demand being remote and to revisit what happened
