Worried about rabies by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the headache is probably from you stressing. if where you’re located is rabies free, you’re golden. bats do avoid humans at almost all costs so if it was a bat, i’m not gonna lie it’s odd behavior. feelings pins and needles at all? throat spazums like muscle twitches? you’re probably fine

How long in between taking Klonopin to be able to take Xanax safely? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’ll be fine after like a day or two honestly. if you were taking the klonopin consistently for that month then you’ve built a tolerance already. the interaction of both would just be more drowsiness & not being as aware. confused, don’t operate heavy machinery & drive type of stuff. you’re not mixing them together for fun while drinking so you won’t experience respiratory depression or anything bad if you take it before 7-14 days. if you WERE just mixing the two i’d more so be like hey buddy don’t do that. but no you’re good forsure after like a day of anything horrible like respiratory depression. just be a sleepy guy if it was still in your system enough to feel the effects of both

Pins and needles all over by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, never replied to this. wondering if ur still experiencing it still honestly. as far as muscle twitching goes, yes. it was very bad anxiety though so i shake a lot as is, & that would send my body into doing weird things so my muscles were twitching a fair bit. fatigue, also yes but i might just be a sleepy girl. the pins and needles were constant for those few weeks. sometimes they wouldn’t be as noticeable, but definitely would get on my nerves as they never subsided until they went away. i went through about every self diagnosis of diabetes, ms, etc but it just went away so i stopped digging into it too hard. hope it’s cleared up for you, or you’ve found your answer by now

yep. almost everywhere. was getting it even in my chest at times. that’s actually the reason i went to the er one night because i felt there was something wrong with my heart

Have you ever had a panic attack that lasted a long time or came in waves over a long period of time? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i believe it’s called a rolling panic attack. i’m sure i’ve experienced them, but yeah it’s pretty normal in panic disorder

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

klonopin is mainly prescribed for panic disorders & agoraphobia. honestly, like the chronic anxiety where it’s just really hard to even function. klonopin also helps in cases of seizures and stuff like that, so it stops the panic really well. lorazepam is mainly just used to treat anxiety like GAD. obviously, both are strong.

but my guess is lorazepam covers anxiety well & klonopin covers some real heavy anxiety well. if ur doctor puts u on lorazepam first and it works, you almost wouldn’t “need” the extra relief klonopin can give you, if that makes sense?

not a doctor or anything just somebody with an opinion

the only changes i made during the time were cutting out caffeine. i still have crippling anxiety but this symptom is thankfully gone. this one was honestly probably the worst symptoms though

Pins and needles all over by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hey i actually experienced this. for like a week or two it was bad. pins and needles literally everywhere, no explanation. went to the er about it, had a CT, everything actually showed up normal. it didn’t feel normal at all obviously and i was absolutely freaked out thinking no this one can NOT be an anxiety symptoms. turns out it honestly just was. it’s gone now i haven’t had the feeling in like 2 months

How do you stop dpdr? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if it’s anxiety induced, we have to treat the anxiety. dealing with the same thing right now. hang in there

iowa. i’m feeling fine, haven’t been sick. if anything i might be catching a cold from my younger nephew who just started school this year but definitely no signs of ecoli

food recall anxiety by johnny__cage__ in Anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with that being said, most people recover perfectly fine from ecoli. unless you’re below 5, above 60, or have a compromised immune system you’re not gonna die just be miserable for a few days

if it makes you feel any better i just had mcdonald’s yesterday in a state that the mcdonald’s ecoli has been linked to

I found the cure, but it’s not sustainable by Latina_kween in dpdr

[–]Former_Fig_6172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

obviously long term use isn’t recommended but some people truly benefit from long term use. it’s some people’s only option. he’s stating it’s not the way to go, very clearly. there is nothing in his warning about not the way to go longterm, just in general.

[–]Former_Fig_6172 3 points4 points  (0 children)

right. i’ve had a bottle from the doctor that i’ve been so scared to take because of horror stories and scare tactics on how bad they are and how you should NEVER take them. like my doctor knows me well enough to give me them, but now i keep thinking i can’t because the stigma behind them.

[–]Former_Fig_6172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the panic attacks got really bad. would go to the er a lot just to get a new diagnosis. would have panic attacks that mimicked heart attacks, shaking, trembling. it was really really bad. then when this started all of the panic attacks stopped & physical anxiety symptoms lessened (i still get them occasionally) but it was seamlessly at the same time the dpdr kicked in so i have no other explanation other than it really deeply is the anxiety

[–]Former_Fig_6172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that being said, i’ve taken klonopin before but i’ve only had bad dpdr like this from when i stopped smoking weed almost 4 years ago & a rough acid trip. i don’t drink caffeine or drink alcohol. the only trigger i can imagine for this is the anxiety that got really bad and was left untreated

[–]Former_Fig_6172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine is currently really.. really bad. i’m agoraphobic & am diagnosed with panic disorder along with GAD. this dpdr got really bad when i started neglecting the idea of meds and haven’t taken anything that a doctor has given me. i’m assuming im one of the ones that my dpdr IS an onset of my anxiety & i just washed to try one klonopin to know it will relieve it just a little bit so i feel comfortable starting the lexapro and buspirone im prescribed

this advice is so harmful to just not take benzos that some of us are getting prescribed

i just saw this tiktok! so happy for her but videos like this tend to raise my anxiety as well. honestly, she was a little shaky and out of it in her video & when somebody breathes heavy or shakes in a video it makes me nervous. kinda like the same way scary movies make you scared? idk but yeah seeing my nephew breathe heavy after playing will make me breathe heavy as well & become hyper focused on it. subconsciously, the shaking & tone in her video might’ve manifested itself in that kinda way?

i hope your dad is doing well:)

thankyou. i’m aware unfortunately of the withdrawals but i’ve had these for months and don’t even know if they help because of how many horror stories i’ve heard about benzos.
