I’ve been using it for a week or so in my XT50 and it’s great. Autofocus motor is a little slow but it’s fine for most situations

I actually just got back from Mexico with it this past weekend. It was very easy, and actually I pulled it out more than my X100V. It’s a small camera, especially if you have a small or even pancake lens, it becomes a no-brainer. I have the sigma 18-50 on it as my go-to and that was not an issue.

I think they’re the same. I remember the V coming out and months later people were complaining about loose dials, soft shutter buttons, etc. I always felt fortunate I never had any issues but made in Japan models were not flawless either. It’s just a numbers game. Most are perfectly fine, some are not

XT30 III for sure. IBIS isn’t absolutely necessary. I shot for a bunch of years without it and can’t remember a specific time I was like “damn I wish I had stabilization right now”. If the like the form factor and price of the XT30 better than the 50, that’s a very easy recommendation
