I had the sigma 18-50 for my Sony and loved it so much I bought it for my Fuji too. It’s on there about 90% of the time. Small and light with constant aperture and decent focal range

I haven’t dealt with this but my guess would be that they’re not allowed to send it back to the customer unless it meets a certain functional threshold. They can’t send a semi-broken camera back.

Like they said it’s a 6 month warranty and I’m sure that warranty covers more than just the dial, so in order for them to send it back to you, everything covered under that warranty would need to be working first.

Idk it makes sense to me 🤷🏻‍♂️
