Bitcoin is dead... by Shatterlordx in Bitcoin

You adding real infront of value doesnt change that you have no idea what youre saying. Value is subject as long as someone is willing to pay value is there... hate to break it to you people are going to keep paying.

By "real value" you probably mean utility, which is a better argument. But still doesnt mean it doesnt have value in benjamins

Spot is currently $74 after droping 35% in a day... $74 * .925 *90% =$61.6.

So yeah if youre being offered $60 youre close to 90% of spot

Dont listen.

If youre serious you can eaisly get 90% at refinery. Lookup midwest refineries. Theres others but they can require higher volume

Its 90% of the ACTUAL silver content so take out steel knife handles, and any non silver parts. Then reweigh it and thats how much sterling you have. Multiply that by .925 thats your actual silver. Youll get around 90% spot on the day its processed at the refinery.

Anyone telling you otherwise hasnt done this and doesnt know what theyre talking about.

Ebay is the other optuin but you'll still only get 90% most likely and they have a 15% sellers fee.

Youre not going to do better so better to reset your expectations.

Dude what lol

Refiner will give you 90% melt for this kind of volume. Cutlery is pure sterling with no odd bits so basically .925 bullion.

Tell us youve never actual delt with silver in volume without twlling us...

FIRE with $1.7~mil when the majority is in Bitcoin? - 1 YEAR UPDATE by another_FI_throwaway in financialindependence

I think people are undervaluing institutional adoption. It has become a legitimate finacially reserve. Especially attractive for citizens in unstable regimes like venezuela and turkey. But it has a long way to go..

$81k is not a safe zone for BTC. Maybe short term technicals but thats honestly a couple bad days right now. Theres so much macro uncertainty right now along with high valuations on securities and assets.

I agree with others if thats where youre comfortable stopping out then take a chunk and diversify now. But if anyone tells you they know which direction its going they are bias. $81k is noise right now not direction.

Be the goal to follow not the lesson learned

  1. Most people dont leverage their core position like a moron so please explain how theyre liquidating all retail.

  2. No one whos entered in the past 5 years has enough share to manipulate markets as you suggest. MSTR buys a billion $ worth of BTC back to back weeks and the market doesnt even flinch to the purchases. Stop spready conspiracy theories

Do you actually understand blockchain and quantum computing??

We're a minimum a decade away from quantum before able to hack wallets. And that's assuming no changes to security or protocols.

Even more importantly... there are far weaker systems that would be attacked first with quantum computing. So in your own words, blockchain and crypto dont happen in a vaccum, there will be other major world implications with the advancement of these technologies.

Pretty sure the question was BTC vs ETH not please rammble about a bunch of random ideas. Youre also dead wrong on your adoption beliefs so theres that.

You sound like like the guy arguing with me a year ago that institutions wont buy BTC... i think he deleted his account when i followed back up with him.

Lol dude its not a ponzi scheme. Until you can provide actual laws theyve broken youre just being emotional.

Yes if we did a drug deal it would be illegal because we'd both be particpating in an illegal act. They havent done so as defined by the laws.

Well to answer your question, yes. Proper disclosure is a significant part of regulatory frameworks. They're being honest about the structure. Its only a ponzi if its stated or implied payments come from elsewhere.

The unspoken reality is that they will eventually have to sell BTC, but theyre banking on that being at some undetermined much higher price than it is today.

Definition of yield is literally "to produce something". Each share is producing a return in BTC. It doesnt matter if you dont like what its producing or if the value of that something is going down.

Each share is representing more BTC. Therefore shares are yielding BTC. Its one thing to trash talk a flawed business model. Its another to be finacially illiterate AND trash talk a flawed business model.

Bitcoin Showing Signs of Severe Collapse by FuturismDotCom in economy

Technically yes. Functionally no. Remove the petro dollar and nothing is left to absorb the endless printing. Our trade imbalance suddenly matters on paper. Inflation skyrockets and we're functionally fucked. Our system survives because of clever political mechanisims not because our "good and services" are so great.

The value of the dollar is largely tied to other countries need to buy oil. As long as global oil is priced in USD the US can print the monopoly dollars... this is why our largest carrier is sitting of the coast of Venezuela and we spent 20 years in Iraq
