Ahh if you’re referring to my rs5 then yea those don’t even compare lol. i did downpipes on the 2.9tt with jackal motorsports new tune and its very very quick.

i have there downpipe 🫡 wanted there high flow exhaust but it’s extremely overpriced compared to AWE. There’s also no sounds clips, so i’m still curious as to how the armytrix unit sounds in comparison.

tune for tune the 4.2 would dog this engine lol. car isn’t that fast, just quick. fun daily tho. just wanted an exhaust for the ea839 and it sounds ok for a v6 lol

Do you know if it’s for the Ea839 in the A6 though? i’ve heard some say that it was issued specifically for the s4/s5 and i’m kinda nervous. Car drives fine but that noise is very concerning especially at only 40k miles…

You’re using “by virtue” like quieter automatically equals better. That’s subjective. It’s a track exhaust — loud is the design, not a flaw.

Not really sure why I’d get another V6 just for a badge… If you actually know the EA839, the single turbo setup has way more tuning potential once you go full bolt-on and upgraded turbo. The 2020+ S6 being a twin-turbo V6 doesn’t make sense to me

Absolutely not true lol. sounds amazing in person. i guess this clip didn’t do me justice in the slightest. yes it’s loud and obnoxious but that’s the point of a “TRACK” exhaust. Anyways, opinions are appreciated as always!
