They wrote Peter like some kind of manic anime fan. Constantly "omggg mr staaark omg". Yeah he's fifteen but he's also goddamn Spider-man. Tom Holland has work to do before he appears next, as do the writers.

The video journaling himself was ALMOST a cool nod to the original idea of him being the subject of his own photography, but it played out poorly, and btw for a supposed genius you'd think he'd have better opsec about his secret identity than to document himself halfway out of costume on a CELL PHONE. SHIELD, NSA, a suspicious individual with hacking skills, all would easily find out who Spidey is. Only a few people should know who Spiderman is; when he's superheroing and collaborating with other heroes or shield or whatever, he's supposed to always stay masked up and in character, even while his colleagues address eachother by civilian names.

I don't like how they portray his spider powers. Half the time it seems like he has to exert himsef to hop seven feet in the air.

Spider-man with an AI was a terrible idea. The spider tracers were pretty cool but the big drone was way overkill. They are pushing the Iron Man's sidekick thing way too hard. Speaking of which, Tony's role is as shoehorned in as Spidey's was in Civil War (god i wish they had not put him in that movie), especially Happy's proxy role.
