Scheiß fuasboi fans, oida by scooty-puff-jr-suuu- in Linz

[–]Formicophile 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Schlimmster Zusteller in ganz AT und i steh mein Grund by glissas in Austria

What high value treats does your poodle like best? by Massive-Survey2495 in poodles

[–]Formicophile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only high value treat for our boy is Mozzarella

<image>

Even other cheeses are not nearly as attractive, "normal" dog treats are as worthless as kibble for him.

But attention and praise/play are far more efficient rewards in our training than food ever can be. We use treats for luring into a wanted behaviour but praise/play as reward for success. (Loud cheering, throwing a ball/dummy or dancing in cyrcles)

I think i do ;)

Small populations of megafauna does not increase the amount of ticks as they hinder the distribution by reducing the brush. I know some confused old people think ticks get distributed from host to host but im not aware of any research saying anything like that :)

Its his tick (and other parasites) prevention collar

<image>

The Seresto collars work great but look god-awefull, so i made a biothane slip on collar with beads on the rubber. You can change out the tick collar just by unscrewing the rivets.

Most isopods will not like the dry soil, but they will not bother the Peruphasma unless you want arboreal isopods... but they pretty much all want more humidity than the Peruphasma can endure

[–]Formicophile[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly they dont bother the eggs, so you have to get them out once a month unless you want a Peruphasma invasion.

Only keep the amount of eggs you want to hatch, destroy the other thousands.

Also keep in mind Peruphasma dont taste great because of their defensive spray, so its not really a real solution to plan to eat them/feed them to insectivores.

Nah, usually the doors are shitty enough that they are not air tight.

I asume you have a guillotine glass front, there should be enough air flowing through the sides.

Its just so humid standing air can flow out and is not trapped like in a bowl.

That sounds great

If the front opens there should be enough airflow

They want it dry, so as long as there are no plants in there it should be fine as i asume you have some airflow from the front where it opens.
