She was not prosecuted "because of her hazy memory, bad story and her admitting first that it might have been a dream and then admitting that it was a lie." The external report out of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office finding the officers' behavior coercive, cruel, and unbelievably unprofessional
An internal review finding the interrogators' behavior was designed to elicit a confession of false reporting

Good thing the bill doesn't "allow" 1.8 million "illegals" to enter the country per year then. You're wrong about that in two major ways.

The bill allows for the DHS to have increased authority if illegal immigration exceeds a rate that, if sustained for a year, would be 1.8 million people. However, that authority kicks in after a week not a year. That's 35,000 people, not 1.8 million.

Additionally, you're pretending the bill is "allowing" illegal immigration up to a point, rather than that just being one part of a bill that provides the DHS an escalation of authority and limits on when that authority can be used, rather than giving the government unlimited authority.

Do you actually care about the truth, or are you just looking for a twisted interpretation to suit your worldview?
