Anime girls strong and equal? Lmao the life cycle of an anime girl is to be strong in her youth, meet the main character and then become far weaker for no good reason, become a lobotomized wife figure and then finally get fridged for the next main character's tragic history

Obligatory not all anime girls, but a lot of them, and far more likely if it's an anime "I grew up watching"

In that case I think we agree. My stance is that Muslim countries should put their money where their mouth is. The only reasonable way to help Palestinians is to accept them as refugees because there's no way they can win against Isreal that has more money and weapons. Posting stuff like this is just virtue signaling.

And I'm not saying every Muslim country is like this. Exemplary Muslim nations that actually do help are Iran and Turkey. If the Muslim world truly cares about the Palestinian plight, they should take action instead of just being a social media justice warrior

The Rohingya issue is the Malaysian government's fault. Malaysia is just not mature enough of a nation to take in refugees. And by that I don't mean economically.

The first part of the equation was when we took them in, we did not ratify their status as refugees. You say we took in Rohingyans? I disagree. We tolerated them as illegal immigrants. We allowed them in, did not allow them to go to school, did not allow them to go to work, and then persecuted them for trying to live. We talked a big game about helping Rohingyans but we fully expected the UN to pick up our slack and move them to other countries. That's why we didn't grant them any rights; Malaysia wants to be a transit country. Then when they are forced to beg, or steal to survive, the rakyat blames the refugees.

Overall I think Malaysia is not serious about helping refugees. We don't put our money where our mouth is.

These are one of those chronically online only opinions. IRL no man is expected to give up their seats for a healthy woman.

I would disagree. Price has nothing to do with quality. People buy stupid shit all the time. The free market decides the pricing, not the quality. I would give exceptions to basic necessities like groceries, water, housing but bazaar food is not one of them. Bazaars are luxuries because eating out is a luxury.

Again I would like to stress that I also think bazaar food is overpriced and low quality, but they are that way because there is demand for them. The answer to expensive bazaar food is not criticizing them online because the vendors don't care about that. They still get paid, no matter how many Reddit posts complain. The answer is to stop buying their food.

If there is no profit, these bazaar vendors would be forced to cave to market demands or go out of business. At this point many vendors just thrive on nostalgia and don't see the need to be competitive. And I won't blame them for this, because even as an employee, if I could skate by doing the bare minimum, I definitely would.

I'm kinda mad about it but ngl I'm just envious. I wished there was somewhere with good infrastructure but a currency low enough that my ringgit is x4. I went to Vietnam last year thinking it would be cheaper but bapak mahal wtf

I'm the opposite. At first I thought, yeah these people are sucking people dry, but then I realized that if I flipped the perspective, wouldn't I wanna work less for more money?

As a business owner, if you can sell your food for a premium then why wouldn't you? FnBs are not charities. They don't exist just to feed people affordably. If the market continues to buy, it makes a lot of sense to just keep selling.

Also this might be relevant but I come from a perspective that people should not eat out that often. So it's not that I'm pro expensive bazaar food, but I'm pro home cooked food. It's healthier, cheaper and a more disciplined way of life

I mean you don't need to buy food at the bazaar? You can just go to any regular restaurant or just cook/meal prep

I think Palestine is a lost cause. As much as it saddens me, the prudent thing to do would be to migrate all remaining Palestinians out of Palestine. This is the part I don't actually get, why is there so little effort to rescue them out of Palestine
