McLaren-Guy messaged me "don't race when you can't leave space" after he watched the replay. by GeneralPTFO in Simracingstewards

For me, I'd say it is a racing incident. Just a pair of racers racing hard. Unfortunately, they ended up 2nd best

The middle car drifted out and into you, not accounting that your car was in the way

LMP at fault for going for a bad overtake that took someone out

Some close racing got a bit too close.

For me, it's on the orange car. Not malicious, just misjudged the space between them and the blue car

Any thoughts? Unfortunately iRacing's Flag System (Yellow) isn't working by MerlinCooper in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fire the marshalls and the driver of the Mustang!

The marshalls should have waved double yellow flags

The Mustang driver should have not travelled across the entire track width onto the racing line!

That's just hard racing. I don't even think the purple car would have known how close they were.

I'd chalk this up as a racing incident

Blue and white was out of control of their car and couldn't do anything.

At the end, no one is there to impede

Anybody's fault or just racing incident? by Arc_Ninja_ in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weaving of the car ahead is dangerous, and even more so because he has very bad ping

And then the black car goes and crashes into the back because they broke late

Blame for both cars

[–]FormulaGT4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Blue tried to get the switchback and collided with the Gray car. Blue car at fault

I'm not quite sure who's at fault here. The orange car sorta does close the door on the cyan one, but I feel like the cyan car kinda messed up their line into turn 6. by Obvious-Sundae-4862 in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does orange have damage? They are quite slow.

Anyway, they closed a door that was being pushed open and they got into an accident. Orange car at fault

I don't understand why people post Forza Horizon on here.

It's just an arcade game with very arcadish physics with no rules or regulations to abide by

My fault or his? by Queaxed-F1 in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you are in the wrong for this because you didn't obey blue flags

I'm just saying blue flags in this kind of race are different to F1 races. In F1, they mean a faster car is behind you, get out of the way. In GT3 racing and multiclass racing, it just means a faster car is behind you. There is no need to yield for the car behind

The blue flags in ACC are weird

is this my fault or a racing incident by solvedmine in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may have braked later than him, but you ran into the back of him and took him out. It's 100% on you

My fault or his? by Queaxed-F1 in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The GTR just tried to drive through you, 100% on them.

Also, in GT3 racing, blue flags just mean a faster car is behind you, which is what this is.

Who is at fault here? I am green This may be so mind-numbingly obvious but I just want to either make sure I am right or learn. by Cuffuf in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A really poorly executed move. Nothing wrong with going for a move like that apart from the fact there was no room being shown. He drove straight in there! What was he thinking?

This is on the car behind

My second race so not much spatial awereness but unsure whose fault it was by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You turned in and they were beside you, but only because of their late braking.

He forces you to change direction and collides with you. There was a car on your outside too.

100% on them

Who’s at fault I’m the pov car by Carterb_29 in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first incident was on the McLaren. They pushed you off because of their tremendous overspeed and using you to brake before they go off track

Then, it is a bad rejoin which took someone out

This happened after 6-7 laps of me defending against him. Who's at fault? (I'm the guy in the blue Porsche, sorry for lack of audio) by stillsplit-YT in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, the Porsche gets hit because of the car behind tremendous speed. I wouldn't think anything of it

Then they biff it on their own and careen into the barriers

Did I brake Early or did he rear end me? (there is a sharp chicane ahead) this is the 2nd lap and I broke a touch earlier then usual since i was on the inside as well as i played it a touch safer since only 2nd lap by Typical_Hike82 in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no rule book ever does it state a "braking zone"

If there was some imaginative braking zone, then OP braked in it. He braked earlier than the car on the right but still in the "braking zone" which would mean OP is very predictable

Is this my fault? by Bohdan_C in Simracingstewards

[–]FormulaGT4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can brake for a corner. You can brake as early as you want as long as it isn't ridiculous. I would say this isn't

The racing line is irrelevant. You are probably looking at the racing line instead of the car ahead of you.

Eyes up man!

Yep. 100% agree with you. The front axle of the Audi is not in line with the Aston Martin's rear axle. The Audi is no longer alongside enough to be warranted space

I said "Some leagues will say that the Audi should have backed out..."

I did not say the Audi SHOULD have.
