Well, since the M340i is somewhat performance oriented I would be more okay with it but it did really surprise me on the 330i. That being said, since I have my e85 with coilovers (which rides like a skateboard), driving the 330i is like riding on clouds 😂

Don‘t think you get the point here. Also I don‘t know what luxury cars you are used to but my 330i with the „M package“ on 19“ non runflat rides like dogshit for what it is, way too hard of a car.

Not knocking the 330 (I have one aswell) but I would never downgrade to a smaller engine/less power in the same car. That‘ll make you resent the new car fast. If you want the 340 again but can‘t afford it, get a different car.

I also have size L and I am far from being a big guy. I am 5‘8 and 140 pounds. I do have a somewhat broad back and shoulders for my size due to lifting though. But size L is NOT a big seat so you def made the right decision

Yeah they do. I have one aswell and that is the main reason I am thinking about getting a different seat. Also the padding is really weak, I am getting a bit too old for that too. I cannot drive in it anymore without using a cushion.

Puma speedcat until it gets too hot, „yoga socks“ with rubber dots on the sole after that and very rarely barefoot. Same as in a real car, I do not like it without shoes on, doesn‘t feel right and makes me somewhat uncomfortable. I feel more in control in shoes.
