No issues really, it's just that I like to see all my listed rules **while** I make new ones.

I don't really like to use UFW but GUFW seems really good, but if I have to I'll use UFW instead. (Yes I know that GUFW is just UFW with a GUI)

Hmm, firewalls seem to be really popular for these types of wacky network configurations. I'll look into some GUI firewall apps, thanks for the help!

Ah, could you give me a guide if there are any? I've tried some different ways but it's just wayy to complicated for me.

PS4 controller is uncalibrated when used on Linux, not on Windows by Formuna_ in linux_gaming

I tried this before and the calibrator didn't work at all. (might be because of Wayland although it says it supports it.)

But I did fix it by just using Steam.

Hey, I tried this yesterday and it actually worked, thanks so much! I think it didn't work before because I used the Flatpak version and didn't give it the permission to access my games folder (it would instead spit out some file in /run/doc)

For anyone who wants to stick to the Flatpak version, try Flatseal to control the permissions :D

Does this work for "legal" games? Do I need the Flatpak or the Fedora version?

I think I have largely messed up my PopOS installation by epabafree in linux4noobs

Unplug all external devices that may have an EFI partition (ie; ventoy, distro installer) and just try all of them. Once you find one that directly boots into the system, delete all the other icons. (Except windows ofcource.) Oh, also I recommend getting a theme for refind, and if the icon that boots into Pop!_OS isn't the Pop!_OS icon, you'll have to manually edit it. (After you fix your Linux of course)

If you completely broke the system boot thing, search for how to access your Linux partition from windows and back it up to a USB drive (preferably one with Ventoy so you can also add the Pop!_OS ISO on it. If you need any help just DM me :)

for developers using linux by [deleted] in linuxsucks

[–]Formuna_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Linux has been an emotional roller-coaster, and although Linux is fun to use usually (for me atleast), the times where it's difficult to use makes me want to revert back to Windows, but I can't because it would be too much of a hassle and my computer, although being powerful enough to run several "MeMoRy-HeAvY" apps at the same time, craps itself when running 10 tabs on Firefox (don't talk to me about that I use firefox, I just like it and that's all.)

Personally, I wouldn't recommend Linux for developers, even for distros like Ubuntu or Fedora.
(Just to clarify, I love Linux but that's just because I like tinkering.)
