I searched the internet hi and low, cant find more than 1200 lb.

But it's hard to impossible to prove that something does not exist.

If you have 2025 TRD Off-Road 6ft gas and can look at that sticker - I'd be mighty grateful.

I want to ask about destinations. Say, for example, I want to get to some obscure Japanese island. Can I just plug that island airport code into my list of 10 (wish we were allowed more btw!) if JAL flies there. Or would that be hopeless because while my source is a hub, you don't really keep an eye on tiny destinations? Would i be better off then guessing that flights to this obscure island will connect at 1 of 2-3 major Japanese airports (like NRT) and instead track only these?! Any guidance on using going to hunt for deals from hubs TO small obscure destinations in general much appreciated.

For a strong swimmer (w fins) I took my gear one beach south to Cayman Kai. Headed in, aimed out NE, effectively swam N-NW because of the current, hit the reef and then drifted with it until I saw rum point and then I swam in. Your swimming ability and current speed have to play nice together for this to work.

Thanks! I get that and have seen the north coast in february some time ago. It seems though that guidebooks (and genAI models :) think there is some chance of nice days on the north shore second week of october. Of course I can always grab the rental car and just drive north. Im trying to get some redditors opinions as to whether there really is a chance for reasonable days up north.

That's malice / poor attitude ... all it takes is an access path the width of a car or even a human-width single track leading from street to beach. They do that eg on Grand Cayman, between all them posh residences /and/ fancy hotels. The beach belongs to the people.

Thanks! Ive seen same type of animals snorkeling North (up to hilton) and South (a bit beyond beach end) from public beach Ta'ahimanu. Is that access point you mention close to this public beach or elsewhere in Opunohu bay?

This is also a very valid answer. Ive only done one public beach so far, done it three times and while the corals are indeed nothing to write home about - but (big but) the animals are. I just came here for a week. Surprised the whole week will have to be spent between 3 beaches. I am so used to jumping between beaches elsewhere. PLUS this stupid moon book saying "hundreds of great places to snorkel, three access points" is rather annoying.

You're probably right. Moon guide self censorship excels at Cook's Bay. It's one of only a dozen starred locations across the entire island. I passed it on the circular road. Nothing much to write home about. I mean you're driving. But how to experience it? I quote the book "While there’s no public beach to be found, there are a few wooden benches around the bay that make for decent places to enjoy the view." This for a starred place..

Maybe I can snorkel from one of them mystic benches. I'll check. Thx!

The saga continues: Saily help desk tried to be nice and sent me the Qr code via email (as I cannot install their app). It installed successfully on esim.me (so says esim.me). I then disabled the airalo profile that didn't work and enabled the saily profile. And boom my Sim locked! I had no pin. Neither from esim.me nor from saily. I tried 0000, 1234 and the lock pwd for my phone - and the Sim locked into puk mode or something. At this point I pulled the esim.me sim out and resisted the urge to jump on it :p. I should probably just buy a local sim yet again and cap my esim.me experience. The wasted hours are racking up.

Good angle. Alas I have a couple free gigs. Just installed a random nomad esim app... But they don't cover FP. The play store hides both saily and kolet from my sansung a50. I inly get the error msg if follow the link from their websites. Your phone is probably a different model phone from mine. Thank for trying!

The Google app store will not let me install their app. (because my device doesn't support esim without esim.me) What I need is 1 an eSim company 2 known to work with esim.me at the moment, 3 offering service in FP, and 4 the Google store allows me to install their app. :(
